Pleasant cottage in the open countryside.
Located among vineyards as an annex to an old country house, a well-air-conditioned apartment building constructed on old foundations, with ample space for 2 bedrooms, each with its own shower/bathroom. We were surprised again by the limited closet space, but at the three locations we visited, this was consistently limited. Apparently typical for Portugal. The host and hostess were extremely friendly and helpful. The biggest drawback we experienced was that our west-facing terrace, paved with dark red tiles, became a kind of oven during the heatwave (39°C) until late in the evening.
Notable is the proximity to Brajoeira Palace, one of Portugal's most beautiful wine estates, where they also offer their excellent Alvarinho vinho verde at a very competitive price.
