We were disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the home. Upon arrival, we found a garbage bag full of seaweed in the closet, and another garbage bag with underwear and socks sitting on top of the washing machine. There were no soaps in the bathrooms and no hand towels in the main floor bathroom. The living room carpet had multiple stains that looked like urine, and in the master bedroom the mattress had been flipped upside down, which left us sleeping on the wrong side of it for the first two nights—extremely uncomfortable. Until we figure out what was wrong. We have never experienced this in all of our rentals experience. There was also no garbage bag in the kitchen trash when we got there. On the positive side, the location was great and the rest of the amenities were fine. If the house had been professionally cleaned with care and we were able to sleep comfortably from the beginning, we would have rated the stay much higher. As it stands, we would rate the cleanliness at 3 out of 5 stars.Also on a side note, you might also want to look at the master bathroom shower head. The Sheetrock is peeling around the shower head from moisture.
