Rimba Resort Pulau Sibu is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. The beautiful sea view and peaceful island surroundings make it a perfect place to unwind and disconnect. The resort is about a 20-minute boat ride from the mainland. Phone reception is limited (around 1-2 bar), but WiFi is available near the bar area. Electricity runs from 4pm to 10am, which adds to the simple island experience. The staff were friendly and took great care of the guests throughout the stay. The meals provided were enjoyable and added to the overall experience. Definitely a place worth visiting—especially sitting by the beach with a cold beer while enjoying the amazing view.

Rimba Resort is truly a slice of paradise. The moment you arrive, you’re greeted by crystal-clear, pristine waters and a peaceful, secluded setting that feels worlds away from the bustle of daily life. It’s the perfect place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and just breathe. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly, always going out of their way to make you feel at home. Their genuine hospitality adds so much to the overall experience. If you’re looking for a quiet escape surrounded by beauty and calm — with some of the clearest waters you’ll ever see — Rimba Resort is the place to be.

Awesome place for glamping. Why did I rank cleanliness 3/5? You're in the jungle 2 meters from the beach in a hut with no air-conditioning glass windows, or solid door Meaning you're not in a sterile, lifeless corporate hotel room. There are ants, geckos, and butterflies. You're going to sleep to the sound of the ocean, walking around barefoot, and snorkeling in the more pristine beach reef 🪸 in Johor

The staff and the beauty of the this Island were the highlights of our trip. If you don't mind being in chalets that have an open concept with damp and stained sheets, not so clean bathrooms and no A/C then the rest can be said is spectacular! Perfect drinks and amazing food!
