Located in a private, waterfront community, you'll enjoy access to a swimming dock, firepit, picnic tables, a covered gazebo, and a kayak/canoe launch. There's also a boat dock where you can moor your boat during your stay. After spending your days splashing in Deep Creek Lake or exploring the water, head back to the lodge to fire up the gas grill and host a cookout for your favorite people.
You'll also love the home's easy proximity to the best of western Maryland. Within an eight-mile radius, you can explore Wisp Resort, Swallow Falls State Park, Oakland Golf Course, Herrington Manor State Park, and Savage River State Forest.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.
Dock details: This home has a private dock that guests are welcome to moor their boats at during their stay.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This was a beautiful property, lots of room for everyone, a great view of the lake off the deck, a giant hot tub, and fire pit for smores at night. The beds were all comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

The neighborhood is close to everything you need, but you never feel like you are too close to your neighbors. The property and neighborhood are ideal if you plan to bring pets and the private dock is a big bonus.
The house is clean, spacious, and well equipped for a long stay. We would definitely consider booking again. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time at Brown Bear Lodge! The home had plenty of space for our large family to spread out comfortably, and the views of the lake were absolutely beautiful. One of the highlights was spending hours on the very large deck, relaxing and enjoying the peaceful scenery.
We loved having access to the dock, which made it easy to keep our rented pontoon boat right on the water. The lake access was just a short walk away, and we spotted lots of deer throughout our stay, which was a fun bonus.
The property itself is quite large, with lots of room for the kids to run around and play. This was the perfect spot for nature, relaxation, and quality family time. We’d definitely stay here again!
