Villa with Pool & Golf Views - Coral Blu (2 bed)

My husband and I stayed at Coral Blu in December 2022. I think the organisation by Blue Sky could have been better. We received numerous wordy emails about paying for various deposits and then signing waivers from different people within the company. Just a step 1, step 2 etc process covered by one person would have been sufficient. I think we had 4 different people email us. We asked for a car rental quote and it took them 4/5 days to get back to us. It's best to rent a car yourself. We then arrived at the villa and didn't hear from someone until the third day. There was no clear instructions for electronics, housekeeping processes etc. When I spoke to Asmara I advised we didn't drink alcohol and would have been interested in an alcohol-free drinks grocery package. A few hours later we received a welcome hamper with alcohol, rum cake and rum marmalade and some tea bags. We'd already purchased some tea bags on the third day morning so felt that was a bit pointless. We asked Asmara regarding the use amenities as by day 3 we still didn't know what we were doing. She said she couldn't help and directed us to guest services. She didn't explain very well where it was either. The staff at Westmoreland aren't the friendliest at guest services. However, the villa itself is located in a very nice area. The gym and pool for the resort is small and there isn't a large range of restaurants on site to choose from. However, there are plenty within a short drive. We went at the beginning of December and the pool was quite quiet which was lovely. The beach club and beach gets very busy. There are plenty of beaches which I'd recommend exploring on the west coast. The villa is gorgeous but could do with modernising. However great views and all the amenities you could ask for. I would recommend the appliances are cleaned with a deep clean every so often. The view from both downstairs bedrooms is amazing to wake up to. TVs have Netflix etc and lots of books available for reading. Kesha the house keeper is a lovely person. And she recommends some great places to eat. I would stay here again.

This is the second property we have stayed in on the Sugar Cane Ridge development. They are very spacious villas in a good location, providing a relaxing and private environment. However we felt this villa is a little tired and requires some maintenance both internally and externally. Externally paint work needs attention to the rear of the property. The french door frames are starting to rot. The sunbed cushions were ripped. The air conditioning wasn't working in the master bedroom when we arrived, plus the dryer wasn't working. The kitchen is tired and the laminate is starting to peel off the kitchen drawers and cupboard doors. The extractor fan doesn't work either. The internals of the cupboards could do with a thorough clean. I'm not sure if there are any thorough checks done before guests arrive. We will return to Royal Westmoreland but not to this particular villa.
