Set all on one floor, this lovely home by the water is ready to host your lakeside getaway. Take in fresh air out on the furnished deck, or relax in comfort in the central air conditioning inside. The main bedroom features an en suite bathroom with a standalone shower, so getting ready will be a breeze. You`ll be able to start relaxing immediately when you come back - just set your lake clothes to go in the private washer/dryer. The open kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up tasty and delicious meals, and there`s plenty of space to sit together! The flatscreen TV in the family-friendly common area also features a DVD player, so you`ll be able to watch your favorites together at night. Of course, lake views come standard at this home!

This home`s secluded location is part of its charm! Dreher Island State Park is just under four miles away for lovely time in nature. If you need to stock up on groceries or just enjoy a little dose of city life, Chapin is eight miles away with plenty of dining options and amenities. If you`re up for a day trip, enjoy the lovely views of Harbison State Forest 23 miles away.
Please be aware the ramp behind the garage is not for guest use. Guests are more than welcome to use the ramp a few miles down the road at Dreher Island.

• Outdoor Fire Pit: Guests are welcome to enjoy the fire pit! Firewood can be found at the Station 2 in Prosperity, right near Dreher Island!
• Pet-Friendly Stay: We happily welcome up to two dogs with a $125 pet fee. (Sorry, no cats.)
• Beach Towels: We do not provide these but these can be found at the Lowes Foods in Chapin, or the Walmart in Newberry.

• The indoor fireplace is not available for guest use.
• Pets are not allowed on furniture, and we appreciate you cleaning up after your pet while on the property.
• Winter Note: During winter months, the lake water level is lower. The beautiful view remains the same, though water depth at the dock may be reduced.

To be fair, this is a complex review. We as the renters made a mistake as to when we were renting not the rental wrong by a period of one year. The host also did not notice, but after we showed up to a property that already had a renter in it, accommodated us in an alternative property in the same location. The property was not set up for an immediate rental so I had not been reviewed by the host so did not receive top marks for cleanliness but honestly, the host accommodated us and corrected an error that we had and that they had missed and gave us a great rental for the period of time we needed to be in North Carolina. We can’t say enough about the host for taking care of us when problems arose. We did not stay at the original Rental and State at the secondary Rental, but it was more than adequate, and we really appreciate the efforts. the host took to help us out in a tough situation for everybody. The host route standing and turned what could’ve been a poor situation after two days worth of driving into a completely adequate and very nice Rental in the exact same area. Props and bravo to the hosts.

we loved the lake access, and using the kayaks and paddle boards provided. There's a restaurant right across the lake, for an easy paddle to food and drinks! We want to come back ASAP :)
