About this cottage rental
This pretty cottage enjoys a privileged location near the beach on a preserved site of the town of Saint-François, Pointe des Chateaux.
Calm, comfort, you will also be charmed by the breathtaking view of the sea! Either from the garden or patio, you will keep memorable of these mixtures of colors in the evening between sky and sea.

The cottage is attached to the house owners, very discreet but will be available to provide you good advice for tours, activities, etc ...
Air conditioning: The 2 bedrooms are air-conditioned and housing benefits in addition to natural ventilation by trade winds.
Kitchen equipment: induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge / freezer, cooking utensils, dishes, etc.
Other equipment: washing machine, barbecue ...
Garden / terrace: Covered terrace with full outdoor seating for dining and lounge chairs for lounging. Flowery garden of 600 sqm.
Linen: Linen (except beach towels) are provided.

Location: Pointe castles 5 km from the center of Saint Francis.
Distance from the beaches: 300m from the beach of Anse à la Gourde.
Shops, restaurants nearby: Many shops 1km, restaurants, souvenir shops etc ...
Sports: Windsurfing, Kite Surfing, boats, catamarans, jet skiing, scuba diving, and casino. 5 minutes from the international golf course and the airfield (parachute jumps, first flights), hiking.

Excellent for those wanting a quiet retreat but still close to restaurants, grocery stores and wonderful beaches. Ocean view setting. Highly recommend.

We liked the house, the location and the whole of Guadeloupe. The kitchen is outside but protected and makes it possible to live most of the time 'outside'. Great please with kind owner who is there when you need him and is further very discreet

My husband and I had a very relaxing time at the cottage and the view is just wonderful!
Though Jean-Pierre lives next door; he is very discreet. He is a very pleasant host.

We stayed at the cottage for 10 days with our baby of 5 months and really enjoyed it. The place is perfect, with a lovely garden (palm trees for hanging up a hammock), very quiet and you can hear the ocean. The air con was a plus as it was really hot in Gwada this first week of our trip. Jean Pierre lives next door and was always available, although we really didn’t have any issues anyway. He even provided food for breakfast and a bottle of rum for the traditional Ti Punch. Which was perfect as we arrived pretty late. What we learned staying in Guadeloupe is that you definitely need a car to get around. Even the closest beach is better to reach by car and the next town, St. Francois, as well. There - amongst other shops - you’ll find a massive Carrefour which nearly offers everything we are used to in Europe.
We would always stay at this place again, and were very sad having to leave.
