Comanche Hideout is one of the most desirable private riverfront locations in Concan that sleeps 16, with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. Located in private, gated Cypress Bend, drive thru the Frio River at Comanche Crossing to reach this large acreage, riverfront rock home.
One of the most popular vacation homes on the entire Frio River. To get to the property it, you drive over a quaint river crossing on the Frio River. Kids and adults alike will love the car ride splashing through the river. Most of all you'll have a riverside pickleball court for serious fun!
As you cross the Frio River, the most striking feature is the majestic mountain range. This home sits in a superb setting! From the house are majestic views of the Frio River, ancient oak trees and most importantly a flat lawn from the home to your own private Frio River front.
Comanche Hideouts riverfront location is easily accessible. When you arrive you first see the life size wooden sculpture of a lifesize Indian Chief that greets you. Once inside this two story rock home, you'll find a 30' vaulted ceiling, floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace and large open floor plan.
The spacious living room kitchen, breakfast bar and dining room allows the entire family to dine and soak in those beautiful river views. French doors lead to a covered back patio, with custom fire pit, pretty palapa and additional back porch seating.
Large master bedroom has river views, tile floors, king bed and ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is downstairs with rock walls, tile floor, 2 queen beds and ensuite bathroom. Upstairs you'll find 2 more bedrooms with river views and a 3rd bedroom overlooking the mountain range. There is an upstairs bathroom with tile shower, tile floor and cedar tongue & groove walls.
Outside is where Comanche Hideout truly shines. Lots of flat land for the kids to play while older adults will find it easy to walk back and forth from the house to the river. The house was perfect for our family! We really enjoyed the backyard and the river, and the bedrooms were perfect for our family. We will definitely be back!

Our family met up for a few days to enjoy the Frio. The property is old and in need of some upkeep, but otherwise, it worked well enough. It is a real hardship to have to bring sheets, towels and washrags. I've stayed at many VRBOs and never had to do this. Our property have 8 beds that needed to be made up before we could begin our vacay. That doesn't feel like a vacay. Otherwise, the place was ok.
