About this house rental
This beautiful home provides unprecedented accommodations and is minutes from Garner State Park and shuttle access in Concan. There is no home quite like this one in all of the Frio River Valley! The primary home is classic, spacious limestone structure with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths situated on the lower level and an enormous upstairs loft that spans the entire length of the home. The loft is a kids dream, consisting of 7 twin beds and 2 queen beds that can be reconfigured to meet your needs. It includes a half bath and an entertainment area that includes a foosball table and a TV/gaming area. The main floor kitchen was built for chefs with new modern appliances and fully stocked with any and every item needed to cook gourmet meals.
The "farmhouse" within feet of the main structure has a large bedroom with a queen bed, a half bath and a laundry area with washer/dryer. As if anything else was needed to make your stay incredible, It includes a spacious Ping Pong room. This is the perfect place to let the kids wind down after a long day floating the river. (Note: June 2025 The stairway to the farmhouse bedroom is steep and is currently in the planning stages for reconfiguration. We do not recommend this area for use as sleeping quarters for young children or older adults)
As if the home needed anything further to entertain you and your guests, the back side of the farmhouse has an extremely large sitting area with couches, a basketball court and a grill. There's even an outdoor shower with beautiful views of the sprawling property!
The home sits on over 11 acres of land perfect for exploring. It includes multiple elevations, a deep dry creek and trails. Hike up the top of the hill for expansive views of Garner State Park or walk down to the dry creek bed and explore the rocks and canyons. The backyard of the main structure includes a large firepit that can seat your entire family and tons of yard games including a professional style Volleyball court everyone will enjoy. This home offers a one-of a kind experience with exceptional amenities that your family/friends will never forget.

We enjoyed our time at this quiet and peaceful property. The house is in a gated area with other homes with large plots of land. The kids had a great time playing basketball and foosball in the fun upstairs area and adventuring through the wooded area. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and gazing at the stars. There aren’t trails but can be easily navigated. The owners were very responsive to our questions. The water is hard being in a rural area and had a sulfur like smell but we got used to it. The proximity to Gardner Stare Park was great, very short distance and we had a wonderful day at the park. Felt spacious enough for a group of 12.

The property is very calming - listening to the the wind in the trees while sitting at the fire pit. The house was very nice with one exception. The water had a strong smell that seemed to get worse each time we showered. We also noticed the smell in the house a few times. This was the only issue - as returning to the property each day was a treat. Being able to watch the UT-Georgia Game was great - until Georgia won. I cooked ribeye steaks on the grill Sunday night. Best meal of the trip! We would definitely like to come back - provided the issue with the strong water smell is removed.

We had a great time, nice house and layout, lots to do on the property and nice setup. The well water was the only complaint but it is what it is. Communication was good, location was good, nice and quiet, great layout for lots of kids to play outside.

My adult family of seven had a great and relaxing time. We enjoyed basketball, volleyball, and ping-pong all on premise. The owners were very responsive to our questions and comments. Highly recommend this place.
