****VERY IMPORTANT – Exterior Building Improvements- The Sea Dunes complex is currently undergoing mandatory exterior renovations through the end of September (weather permitting; delays are possible). This project will impact the entire building and includes jackhammering, waterproofing, and ongoing exterior construction work. This remains an active exterior construction site. Guests should expect loud daytime construction noise, dust, workers and equipment on site, potential view obstruction, changing conditions, and the possibility of temporary access restrictions to certain areas or floors. In addition, east (ocean-side) exterior painting is currently scheduled from February 9 through June 19, weather permitting. When units are being painted, there may be no balcony access and outdoor furniture may be moved inside. While rentals are permitted during this time, construction conditions are disruptive and are outside of our control. Rental rates reflect the uncertainty and risk associated with booking during an active construction period.

Conveniently located on the second floor, glimpse the breathtaking views this condo offers immediately as you walk through the front door. Inside, tiled floors will lead you to an updated kitchen with dazzling granite countertops that is fully stocked to meet all your cooking needs.
Looking out from the kitchen into the great room, you will find a wooden dining table with seats for 6 as well as a bar stool area that will seat two. Just beyond, lies the living area where a plush grey sectional is centered around a seagrass rug and entertainment piece housing the flat screen TV. The light beige walls mixed with the coastal blue colors and seaside décor throughout the condo create a tranquil setting ideal for a peaceful getaway. The glass slider will lead you to the balcony where spectacular views of Amelia Island's pristine beaches can be viewed as you sip your morning coffee or enjoy a good read.
The master bedroom sits just off of the great room, and features a king size bed with a sea grass headboard, a flat screen TV, white plantation shutters, a master bath with a shower/tub combo and separate vanity area, and the same amazing views of the Florida coastline.
Back towards the entrance is a second bedroom, which offers two full beds with rustic white headboards, a flat screen TV, and plantation shutters. Adjacent is a second bath with a shower/tub combo.
This soothing escape is directly oceanfront and only steps from the sandy beach. A quick 2 minute stroll will take you to the huge Sea Dunes pool where you can bask in the sun or take a refreshing dip! It's the perfect getaway for a couple, a small family, or senior citizens. While staying in this luxury vacation condo you can visit the Omni Hotel to enjoy a glass of wine, ride bicycles through the plantation's many trails, take a stroll down to the plantation's many shops and restaurants, visit the miniature golf course near the plantation entrance, or rejuvenate at the nearby spa and salon. This condo also includes access to double tennis courts and pickles ball courts just across the street.

We had the best family vacation. The property was very clean, well stocked and had amazing views from the balcony. We loved being able to walk straight on the beach or relax in the pool. The owners were outstanding and took great care of us. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to book again!!

Renting through Amelia Island Getaways was a great experience! Great communication from beginning to end! They answered all questions we had. Condo was awesome! Pictures are accurate. Everything in the condo that we needed. Beds slept great! Everything was clean. Loved the keyless entry. Walk to the beach was easy for us older folks. Great areas to walk your dog! We liked having the manned security entrance to the plantation. The route to the condo is a little intimidating at first if you're not familiar with the South end of the Island and the plantation. BUT once you get used to it there's no problem. It's a beautiful area! The grounds at Sea Dunes are beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. The pool area is awesome! Also, I have to add that it's a short drive to Baxter's Restaurant for the best steaks on the Island! Highly recommend! Always our favorite! Was sad to learn that Brett's Waterway Cafe will be gone by the end of the year! Love Brett's! If you rent umbrellas/chairs for the beach BEWARE of Sunsetters Beach Service! The picture shows how one of our umbrella's was left. Did it fall? We're not sure. We rented 2 umbrellas and 3 chairs from Sunsetters for 2 days. The 2nd day this is how we found 1 of the umbrellas. Guy said he would refund our money for the 1 umbrella. He could not get anyone out there to put it back up & we had no way to put it up. We have NOT received a refund & he won't respond to my text. We would definitely stay here again!

The view is nice and it's great that they take dogs. But, as soon as we walked into the condo, we realized it needed updating. The entire condo needs painting, the table on the deck is rusted, shower floor is stained, curtain/curtain rod needs to be replaced, burnt out light bulbs in the bathroom. The master bed and pillows are extremely hard. They could really use some different furniture on the deck since that's the best feature of the condo. They have a high table and chairs so that you can see the view over the railing but they're not all that comfortable. There was no facial tissue in the entire condo which seemed weird. We booked through VRBO but the unit is really managed by a rental company. So, your VRBO fee is really a waste of money. Too bad they can't tell you that up front. The rental company's agreement had a lot of "do this or that and you'll be charged" verbiage which was kind of a turnoff.
