And now if none of the above works you have use of a quiet, efficient air conditioning system to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Kauai, the Garden Isle, is the most tropical of all of the Hawaiian Islands. Stay in a fabulous one bedroom unit in a luxury condominium at Poipu Beach. On the sunny South Shore of Kauai guests will enjoy lush vegetation and flowers and the least amount of rainfall on any part of the Garden Isle.

Mike Galvin oceanfront condo is only 50 feet from the ocean's edge, which allows for easy and quick access to the ocean. There are white sand beaches on both sides of the condo and Sunset Magazine states that this location is 'the best snorkeling site on the south shore.' For those looking to surf or boogie board, this experience is an unforgettable one.

The unit includes a lovely and spacious lanai that is great for sunbathing and viewing the spectacular sunsets. The large living room has new wall to wall carpeting, charming rattan furniture. This unit will accommodate four persons comfortably and is equipped with 27' cable TV.

The bedroom has a king-size bed, a large closet, and a ceiling fan. The fully appointed kitchen includes a full sized refrigerator, range, dishwasher and disposal, a microwave, blender, coffee maker, toaster, and all of the utensils that would be found at home. Floor to ceiling windows create a awesome views in both the dining room and the living room.

You can’t get any closer to the ocean unless you’re on a boat! A big south swell came in for the week which attracted a lot of great surfers from dawn to dusk - what a show! The sunsets were amazing and the full moon glistened off the ocean at night. The strategically placed wall to wall mirrors greatly add to the atmosphere of the room enabling you to see the ocean from any angle. The location is great with easy access to all the surrounding beaches and adventures. The condo supplied us with everything we needed for a great vacation!

We had an amazing stay at this condo. Located right on the shoreline, we were treated to views of sea turtle sea turtles swimming by and surfers catching waves all day every day. The lawn on seawall is a beautiful place to watch the sunset which we did every night. The location is also very close to restaurants and shopping in Poipu and Kōloa. In fact, the wonderful Beach House restaurant is right next-door to the property.Also just a short drive to Poipu Beach, bonus there are boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels in the closet. The kitchen is updated and fully equipped, and the dining room has a million dollar view. We never even needed to use the air conditioning because the cross breeze from the front door to the lanai kept everything perfect. We spent most of our time out on the lanai because the view was mesmerizing. We even saw the Milky Way right in front of the lanai! And seriously, so many surfers and turtles.The only suggestions that we would make would be that the furniture could use updating as well as the carpet, but this would not deter us from returning. We love this place, not only the apartment but the entire complex.And we can’t say enough about how kind and accommodating the owners were. They sent us a letter and a calendar right after we booked welcoming us which was so sweet.We would 1000% return to this place, we’re still dreaming of that incredible view and miss falling asleep to the sound of the surf.

The condo was clean - bedroom could use a little updating but the bed was comfortable. Our contact did a great job of corresponding and being timely in responses. The view was definitely worth it!!!! And ease to see sunsets was perfect!!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo, right on the water. We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning and evening, watching the surfers and sea turtles. The condo was quiet, had ample parking, and everything you needed to take to the beach. Plenty of chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and towels. It was so peaceful to come home and relax, listening to the ocean every night. Pat was very responsive and helpful when we had issues with the internet. We loved our stay in Kauai!

We had a wonderful 9 night stay. The condo was great. Had everything we needed and definitely utilized the beach gear. Very quiet with only the sound of the surf in the background . The view is exceptional-we watched surfers and turtles from the balcony every evening. We never turned on the A/C or TV. The sunsets were spectacular. We snorkeled at several beaches but found Lawai beach to have the most varied fish-only a few minutes walk. Very close to Spouting Horn and Allerton/McBryde National Botanical Garden. Lots of great food options close by. Could have easily stayed longer.Owners were great. Very clear communication about checking in, etc. We had no issues at all during our stay.

We had amazing first time in Kauai staying here. The location is perfect and the host is super responsive. The check in process was extremely easy. The host provided beach chairs, towels, and other beach accessories. The apartment is stocked with everything you need. I loved hearing the crashing of the waves every night.

Five nights in Kuhio shores Kawaii. Older building, One bedroom, second story, south east facing condo overlooking the ocean. Very comfortable lived in feel. It had some beach stuff, chairs etc. in the closet but we did not use any of it. Nice but expensive restaurant next door. We had dinner there one night. Rocky beach area with small sandy beach entrance nearby. Enjoyed watching a few surfers while sitting on the patio with a glass of wine. Not particularly walkable area but we had a car so all good.

We love Kauai and always appreciate any opportunity to be on island. Having to work while there, I opted for this property and the phenomenal views to hopefully see some whales. Definitely worked out well! :) The Galvin’s were extremely easy to communicate with, very responsive while I was there, and provided directions, ideas, and more to help with my stay. Truly a lovely experience!

What a great location for everything we wanted to do. Before traveling I researched where to go to see great sunsets. Little did I know it was right at the condo. Plus, each morning I could watch surfers and sea turtles right from our windows or balcony. The condo was clean and included everything we needed for a great stay.

We had such a great time in this unit! The view from the living room and kitchen is gorgeous, we watched surfers and turtles every day. The kitchen is nicely updated and well stocked. The bed was comfy, and the couch was actually comfy too as is (my partner slept on it not folded out when he snored one night and found it nice). Most importantly for us the AC in the living room and bedroom worked great! The hosts were also very nice and responsive which we really appreciated. Overall great stay :)
