About this apartment rental
The Seawind complex was built in 2006. Our condo is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom on the 7th floor (unit #707). We own 706 next door as well for guest who are vacationing with extended family or friends. Great views of the Gulf of Mexico are available from the spacious balcony. The unit is professionally decorated and ready for your enjoyment. Living room and Master bedroom both have sliding glass doors that lead onto the balcony. Kitchen is fully stocked and has stainless steel appliances with granite countertops. The condo features include 9 feet ceilings with crown moulding and ceramic tile floors in kitchen, halls and baths. There is a laminate wood floor in the rest of the condo. The condo is equipped with a full size washer and dryer for your convenience in the laundry room. There is a new King size bed and a Beautyrest hybrid mattress in the master bedroom, a queen size bed, with a Sealy Posturepedic Plush Euro Pillowtop mattress in the guest room, the third bedroom is great for kids with a twin size top/ full size bottom bunk bed . The master bedroom, living room and the guest bedroom all have a flat screen TV . The third room /bunk room has a 32inch TV as well. There is new furniture on the balcony for your relaxation while enjoying the view of the Gulf.
The complex has a huge exercise facility that overlooks the gulf. The condo also has an indoor/outdoor pool, zero entry kids pool and a hot tub . The property is located on East Beach Boulevard in Gulf Shores, just 1/2 mile from Highway 59.

Enjoyed our stay! Kitchen is well appointed, really appreciated the laundry and dishwasher pods. Lots of beach stuff available to use which was very helpful! Communication was easy and our host responded quickly to any questions we had.

We enjoyed our stay here. The beach view was perfect & beach access was very easy. I loved the location. It was walkable to shops & restaurants. I had questions about a couple things after we checked in. I texted the host, Lisa & she answered back right away & was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The good: Great location, plenty of places within walking distance to eat. I was grateful that the host allowed us to pay for a late check out to accommodate my daughter’s late flight. There was enough bath linens for all of us & the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast/lunches. The beds were all neatly made & bed linens were freshly cleaned. There were beach toys, boards, chairs, & an umbrella in the utility room, which supplemented what we brought. The not good: (in all fairness to the host, I did not complain about any issues because we didn't feel they could be addressed while we were there anyway.) The condo is in need of a good, deep cleaning and general maintenance. The mattress in the master bedroom has a dip in it. The bed in the second bedroom was pretty firm. The main bathroom has mold all over the air vent, and around the ceiling over the tub. There appeared to be cover up paint around the vent and parts of the ceiling at wall edges. The faucet in the tub dripped constantly & the shower head leaks/didn’t spray right. The dishwasher has stains of some sort down the front and didn’t wash during the first cycle (it ran, but dispenser didn’t open). The ice maker didn’t make much ice and took a bit to dispense. We didn’t use the washer/dryer so I can’t comment on their function. Top surfaces were cleaned, but each room needs dusting, walls/baseboards wiped down, & furniture swept under. The living room furniture looks worn.
