Great overnight in a lovely hotel and town!

A stopover on the way to collect my daughter. We needed somewhere to stay in Avranches and thought the hotel looked great. We loved the hotel and Avranches. A lovely town for a few days! Hotel was great - delicious breakfast, comfy quiet room and secure parking. Really friendly staff. We dined in town but the restaurant looked lovely.

I will definitely return.

I always look for a Logis hotel when in France as they’re all individual and not part of a chain. This one however was a gem. The bar and dining room were comfortable and cosy with lots of charm and character. The bedrooms were spacious and the staff were all extremely professional and helpful. The best bit was dinner…..wow. The food was absolutely delicious and their menu had everything for every palate. The service was second to none and the wine list was extensive.

The location to access the sites is excellent and the garden in a town centre was superb.

Lovely gardens at rear, secure parking, cosy room, clean and well decorated, comfortable bed, excellent staff, felt welcome. Lovely dining room and excellent buffet breakfast. After stays in several v disappointing hotels in France this was, in the main, a very pleasant experience and good value too.

Bedroom and ensuite a little on the small side, dinner a little disappointing ( both choice and preparation).

Less than 2 hrs from Cherbourg easy to find. Nice location. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food very good. Can't fault it. Normally we go to St Malo overnight. But 4hr crossing stop here good food good sleep so much better if moving on. We would consider doing a few nights here also.

An old fashioned traditional French hotel . Room very nice. Comfy bed. Clean. Bicycles safely stored in a huge lock up garage. Breakfast was a traditional French continental one. Lovely town with nice churches.

A very nice old hotel with a great restaurant

An old and well maintained hotel with character. The room was cozy, clean and very large. The staff was polite, welcoming and professional. We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant, the best meal of our week long stay in Normandy. The menu was exciting and the wine list was excellent. They also had a very good selection of single malt whisky, which made me very happy. We also found the town to be an interesting place to visit and there did not seem to be many touristst around in spite of the proximity to Mont Saint-Michel. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay if you are visiting Mont Saint-Michel
