Large cottage in the countryside - ideal for families, hikers and cyclists

Our newly renovated and modern holiday home is located in the quiet Eifel village Gefell, near the Nürburgring, away from all main traffic routes, in the middle of the hilly volcanic Eifel directly on a signposted mountain bike route and signposted hiking trails. From here you can easily reach the Eifelmaare in the summer for swimming and hiking at any time. The entrance to the Maare-Mosel-Radweg (former railway line) is located in the approximately 8 km distant county town of Daun, which invites you to stroll and shop and where cozy restaurants and cafes are. Due to the connection to the A1 / A48 in about 5 km distance you reach the cities of Trier and Koblenz in a short time. The tranquil Moselle towns Cochem, Bernkastel or Bad Bertrich can be reached soon.

You live in the 2-storey 200 sqm holiday home alone.
In the (barrier-free) ground floor there is an open kitchen / dining area with new kitchen incl. Dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine and toaster, a dining room including two high chairs for our youngest visitors, a large living room with a comfortable couch and a flat screen TV, another open space with seating that invites you to chat or play and a cozy tiled stove for the we provide the wood, an accessible bathroom with toilet, shower and bath, a storeroom with washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron and freezer.

In the 1. Floor are the 4 bedrooms, 3 with double beds and one with two single beds and a bathroom with toilet and shower. The bedrooms are each equipped with wardrobes, so that sufficient storage space is available. 2 extra beds can be added in the largest of the bedrooms. In the large hall of the upper floor, we have set up a play area with Lego railway and other toys and children's books. The house is heated by a central oil heater.

Outside is a large terrace with great views, an awning and garden furniture and gas grill for cozy barbecues. There is also a garden with a swing and slide for children and a trampoline and basketball hoop, the village playground is located 50 meters away.

There is also free parking and a lockable cellar for storing bicycles or motorcycles.
