About this apartment rental

Located in the heart of the city. A premier location, on one of the few pedestrianised streets in Barcelona. We a very fortunate that the road directly outside our apartment has recently become pedestrianised, meaning a quiet existence in the vibrant city centre of Barcelona. Located in the beautiful district of Dreta l'Eixample, also known as the Quadrat D’or (the Golden Square) of central Barcelona. The area has a local and family orientated feel that provides a safe and authentic way to experience Barcelona. There are an abundance of amazing restaurants on the doorstep to sample a variety of Catalan, Spanish and other International cuisine.

A homely 3 double bedroom, one bathroom apartment in an 18th Century building. Stylish street balcony, where you can truly soak up the atmosphere of Barcelona with beautiful city views of the pedestrianised street. Along with a large rear private terrace, which is lovely for relaxing and eating.

Just a few blocks, easy walk to Paseo de Gràcia, the main designer shopping street, and popular tourist sites such as the Gaudi modernist architecture of La Pedrera, Casa Batlló, the Sagrada Familia. Within comfortable walking distance to La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter, with the Cathedral. "Barceloneta" city beach and old port can be reached in a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi ride. Alternatively, the L4 metro line, which is adjacent to the apartment takes 5 minutes.

The apartment was fully renovated to retain original features, whilst offering a modern and comfortable space. There is solid oak wood floors throughout. The ceilings are 3.6m high with period features. TV. Bluetooth sound system. Free, unlimited, high speed fiber WIFI and A/C.

Sleeps up to 5. 3 bedrooms (1 king with memory foam mattress & 2 doubles). The apartment has air conditioning and each bedroom is equipped with fans and radiators.

Bathroom: contains a large wet room style shower, WC, sink and heated towel rail. It features a large frosted glass wall adding a very stylish finish. It is tiled with porcelain and mosaics, offering a sleek Mediterranean look.

Kitchen: Open plan kitchen with granite work tops, fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven and hob, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, washing machine, iron & ironing board. kitchen utensils and dishes provided. Dining table seats 6, which enables you to enjoy a home cooked meal after a busy day exploring the wonders of Barcelona.

Living Room: Open plan living with leather sofa and additional seating. There are solid oak wood floors. Restored original features give an authentic, cosy atmosphere. There is a Bluetooth portable sound system. High Speed Fibre WIFI

Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service: Towels and linen provided. Iron & Ironing board and Hairdryer provided. The apartment is cleaned and checked before arrival and all fresh linen and towels supplied. There is heating in all rooms and fans in all bedrooms.

We welcome stays from couples, families (there is a travel cot), business and cruise visitors. There is a limit of 5 people in the apartment and we do not accept stays for groups looking to party.

Our space is ideal for families, offering so much more room, flexibility and personal touches compared to a hotel. Great playgrounds near by for kids. Supermarkets less than 50 yards walk away. Amazing cafes and restaurants. If you are wanting to work whilst away there is a table and seating, that overlooks the rear terrace, to sit with a laptop in the apartment and high speed internet.

You will be welcomed on arrival and given a full introduction to both Barcelona and your holiday home!

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

The Tourist Tax (obligatory under Catalonian Law) must be paid upon arrival by all adults (over 16 years old). The rate changes annually. The current rate is €8.50 (2025) per adult, per night. It must only be paid for the first 7 nights (only) of the stay.

Our standard check-in time is from 3 pm but we always try to adapt to our guests if we don't have another group of people checking-out the same day. For arrivals from 21:00hrs onwards, there is a late check-in fee of €30.00 and after 00:00hrs a late check in fee of €50.00.

Our apartment is fully registered with Barcelona's Tourism Register, which is a legal requirement by the Government of Catalonia for renting out your apartment in Barcelona city. HUTB005809

We loved our time in Barcelona and the apartment was just right for our needs. There was plenty of space for everyone and the private terrace was beautiful. The A/C does not quite reach all the bedrooms. The location was perfect and we could walk to almost everything.

We had a great time with a few friends. The space was nice and in great location. Was easy to grab taxis and is walking distance to many shops & restaurants. There was a 24 hour market on same block & we tried a few places in square to eat. Everything was delicious. Host had many recommendations and was very helpful.

My husband and I stayed here with our 13 and 15 year old. The apartment was great for all of us. The location was wonderful! Very safe, very walkable. Be aware, it is on the "primero" floor which is up a couple of decent flights of stairs. The host was very communicative and the person who was checking us in went out of her way to meet us early after we got through customs quickly. We definitely stay here again!
