About this apartment rental
Accessibility - 4 floors above street level. Elevator
There are 9 steps from the ground floor up to the lift.
Apartment description - 3 double-bedroom newly renovated apartment with 2 full bathrooms plus den with one single bed. One bathroom with sink, bathtub, toilet. Second bathroom with shower, sink, toilet. Complete kitchen including oven, microwave oven and full-size refrigerator. Small balcony off Master Bedroom. Two queen/double beds and 3 single beds. Maximum occupancy - 7 people.
42' flat screen TV in living room.
For maximum comfort this apartment has central gas heating and central air-conditioning.
*** Please note currently we do NOT accept stays of group of guests under 21 y.o., which are unaccompanied by adults (we require at least 2-3 adults over 30 y.o. for a group of 5-6 guests under 21 y.o.). Also we kindly remind you that parties of any kind are not allowed in the apartment. STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. ***
Location - The apartment is in the historical part of the Eixample area, at a short distance and midway from the Sagrada Familia temple and Passeig de Gracia shopping.
Transportation - Near Verdaguer metro station (on yellow and blue lines) and several bus lines. Very easy to get to by taxi.
Management - We are a small family company. Lauren is from Dallas, TX and Fernando is from Barcelona, Spain. We currently run 20 holiday apartments in Barcelona, 2 furnished homes in Dallas and 7 holiday apartments in Istanbul. We apply our same high standards in every country.
Noise levels - Façade windows have double glazing, but there can be some street (traffic) in two of the bedrooms. The other three bedrooms are very quiet.
Occupancy - The apartment is ideally suited for 5 people to have separated bed for each. It can sleep up to 7 (maximum occupancy) - Two queen/double beds and 3 single beds.
Check-in and check-out - The apartment will be ready for you at 16:00 (4:00 PM) for occupancy. You can drop your bags with our manager. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. You can request reserved early check-in for a small fee, subject to availability. There is no extra fee for nighttime check-in. We have keyless system.
Late check ins - no problem.
Reservations - We conduct reservations by email, that way there is a written record of all communications and much less room for error. We cannot currently take reservations payments by phone.

Pros: We stayed at the property during a very hot week and were able to stay nice and cool with the a/c. The location was fantastic- right next to a coffee shop for breakfast, a farmacia for sun protection, a market for some groceries to have on hand and lots of shopping. The washer and dryer were great to have while traveling, and the water pressure in the showers was very good. I didn’t realize how nice it was to have an elevator until we moved on the other places without one, so that was also a huge bonus. Communication with the host was easy, and being able to leave our bags prior to checking in was appreciated. Cons: the place is a little banged up, the hours for the rooftop terrace are so inconvenient that we never were able to even see it, and there were several bugs in the apartment that I assume get in when utilizing the outdoor spaces.

We can’t wait to come back! The apartment is beautiful and well appointed — we appreciated having some dish soap, laundry soap and bathroom products on hand when we arrived, and you can’t beat the location. Close to everything — restaurants, cafes, a crepe spot on street level below the apartment and a 10 minute walk from the Sagrada Família. Oh, and close to busses as well. Liliana was wonderfully responsive with our questions about check-in and even helped lock up our bags for the day before we checked in at 4:00. Highly recommend! Perfect for families or two couples. And the rooftop access is the icing on the cake. Oh wait - so is the view from the balcony! Thank you!

The place is very spacious and clean, but it is quite old. The worse is the bad smell from the washroom.
