About this cottage rental

Ground floor apartment of an old cottage, consisting of 2 apartments, one of the owners residence, in the beautiful garden of an old villa near Lucca a short distance from the beach and Pisa. The apartment has spacious and bright rooms with valuable antique furniture. For 2 people, it consists of kitchen, large living room with fireplace, large double bedroom, bathroom with tub and shower. Outside private garden, porch with curtains, open spaces for walking, taking the sun, rest in a cool place. The perfect place for a holiday in the green countryside of Lucca between art and sea beaches. Parking, private entrance.

It is a perfect place to stay and visit Viareggio/Lucca/Florence/Sienna and drive all the small roads in between. The cottage itself is great. The pictures on the site make it small but it is nice and wide. Big enough for 2 people to stay, nice terrace, nice complete kitchen, big and great bathroom. Bedroom is spacious and linked to the bathroom. The driveway to the cottage is movie worthy. We loved it and if possible we will return in the near future.

The property more than met our expectation plus a very warm welcome from the host. It had all we needed and the house and garden are lovely. Close to the lovely city of Lucca and within easy travelling distance of the best of Tuscany. Definitely recommend.

Friendly and restful environment, beautiful apartment, terrace with a great view. The hosts are helpful, kind and positively interested in their guests. Lucca is a beautiful and friendly town, nearby with the car. The village of Cerasomma is open and friendly too, with nice people in the local bar.

This property was absolutely beautiful. The house is huge and very well equipped. The hosts, Carlotta & Enzo were delightful and more than accommodating, going out of their way to assist me and provide special opportunities for me to experience the local culture and special events. I always felt like they were watching out for my safety and comfort, but never hovering. The place is a bit more remote than I anticipated, but once I got the hang of the local bus system it was fun to just act like a local. Gave me time to sightsee and explore or just relax and read a book in the beautiful setting.

We were so pleased with our stay at Yorkie cottage. The setting was beautiful, just how you think of Tuscany. The apartment was immaculate, had all of the amenities and a beautiful private patio to sit out. Carlotta was an exceptional host. She was available and eager to help but totally unobtrusive. The location was very convenient with a car for touring Lucca, Pisa Florence and Siena. We would definitely recommend

Carlotta was a fabulous host, providing excellent local knowledge. She created a very welcome home away from home. The whole property was gorgeous, relaxed, extremely well maintained and spacious. Carlotta was not intrusive but always approachable and friendly. The location was easy to explore Tuscany by car .
