Villas de Mar Beach Resort

Wonderful place to stay in Loiza! Unit was very clean, spacious and has everything you’d need. The property offers two pools and having security at the entrance/exit was nice. A/C works amazing in the bedrooms. We also loved how the TV offered free streaming services such an Netflix and Prime. The host was very responsive and accommodating! The only heads up I would mention to prospective renters is right behind the unit is a bar so expect to hear music (nothing crazy but worth mentioning).

The condo experienced a water rationing the whole time were there. Obviously, not the fault of the owner but we were without water from 9am-5pm and then again after 8pm. Would have been nice to have drinking water provided. Made our trip pretty challenging 😥

Was a great spot with the pools and access to the beach.

The gated community itself was safe and clean, the apartment was in less than acceptable conditions. It needs major renovation such as working ventilation in both bathrooms and a deep cleaning. The walls and floors had visible dirt and mildew buildup, and the bedsheets were not clean. While the in-unit washer and dryer allowed us to wash them ourselves, this should not have been necessary. The apartment was also missing basic essentials such as dish soap and any cleaning products and paper towels. Another concern was at the pool, where other guests were openly smoking marijuana while we were there with our young children, which was very disappointing. The host was attentive, responsive, and apologetic about these issues, but overall the apartment fell short of our expectations. With proper updates, and thorough cleaning this could be a great rental. I would return only if these changes are made.
