About this house rental
Thank you for your interest! Our place is nestled in the Nob Hill/Ridgecrest area, walking distance to several gorgeous parks, and minutes away from the airport, schools, dining, shopping, and entertainment. Whether you’re in town for business or pleasure, our casita is set up to give you all of the comforts of home.
Please review our house rules:
*NO PARTIES: People not accounted for on your reservation are not permitted on our property. There are cameras on the exterior of the property for our protection and yours.
*NO PETS: (including ESA animals). While we love animals, we do not accept pets so we can offer an hypo-allergenic environment for all of our guests.
*This home is not suitable for children under 5. The yard is not completely fenced in, the furniture is not secured to the walls, nothing is child-proofed and we have clay walls.
*NO ILLICIT DRUGS/ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES: 420 is OK outside but if you're planning on using anything else, please do it elsewhere.
THE SPACE:
We hope you’ll find our home stylish, comfortable, functional and sparkling clean!
This home has been completely renovated from the studs up in 2018 with new plumbing, electrical, custom clay walls, and stainless steel appliances. In Sept. 2019, it was furnished with all brand new mid-century modern furniture, textiles, linens, bedding, and kitchenware.
Between all guests, the casita is professionally cleaned top to bottom (by a pro cleaner, who we pay well).
The interior and exterior are routinely sprayed with a non-toxic pesticide by a professional company. Creepy critters are a part of the ecosystem in the southwest and while we do what we can to keep them away, you are likely to encounter a bug while in Albuquerque/ABQ/Alburquirky/DukeCity/Burque/The505/Alburqueerky/Tamalewood. That said, we have not encountered bugs inside the house.
GUEST ACCESS:
Guests will have private access to the entire house, yard, and driveway.
We have 2) bedrooms with doors 1) bedroom that has 2 sofa beds and doesn't have a door 2) full bathrooms, 3) Large Closets, a large smart TV in the living room, a smart TV in the Master bedroom, a gas fireplace, a small workstation (OK, it's a closet that we decided is a work station), and internet that works well inside the house (it's a little spotty outside at times).
There is a full kitchen, stocked with spices, oil, coffee/tea, and all the tools you would need to cook an awesome meal, a washer & dryer free of charge and detergent.
Parking is super easy! There is a long driveway that you could easily fit 2) Ford F-150s in or could accommodate a truck and a small trailer, there is also ample free street parking.
The only areas off-limits are the 3 small closets marked "PRIVATE", one is located next to the front door, one is in the front bedroom and the other is next to the laundry door. There is ample room in the remaining large 3) closets to comfortably accommodate 6 people. The garage is also not available to guests.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is very comfortable, functional and well equipped. It is also very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. The host is wonderful, very welcoming and responsive.

Awesome property! Came here to visit my son in the Air Force for the holiday and this location was perfect. It had all the amenities we needed and was very clean. It's located near shopping and only minutes away from the airport. The hostess is great and very responsive. I would use this location again if I territories and it's available.

We loved our stay in this cute SW home! The location was super convenient to the airport, Old Town, and restaurants. Amaris was very responsive and we found her home to be comfortable and pleasantly unique. The front and backyard were lit with colorful lights. The inside had the right amount of sparkle. When I opened a kitchen drawer and saw the smiley face wooden spoon, I knew I selected the right place.

This house is subject to tons of TLC! Very clean, very modern---a very fun house, done in a very fun style. It is one of those rare houses in which you can tell real people actually live there---everything we needed was not only there, but exactly where we expected to find it. Amaris is very easy to work with and very responsive. The door alarm decided to chirp every 17 seconds every night, which, as soon as I mentioned it, was fixed! We did have a major issue, but it was more like an "act of God," which was no one's fault. Amaris said we could stay while the problem was fixed, but since it would have been two days before anyone could take a look, and because it was a plumbing/sewer problem, we were concerned that any usage of water in the rest of the house could exacerbate the original issue. So we opted out and were promptly refunded the rest of the stay. (If we have any complaints, it is at this point, and it is directed at VRBO. We were refunded for the last three nights of our stay, which did not consider time lost as we lined up new digs and moved... which we actually had to do twice for the three nights, because of the hurried way in which it all came about. It would have been nice to get more back for losing big chunks of vacation time that we would have liked to have used to explore ABQ and NM. VRBO has changed quite a lot over the many, many years that we have used them, and not in a good way.)In conclusion, we highly recommend Amaris' cute casita!
