This upscale property is located in beautiful, sunny South Kihei directly across from the Kamaole III beach. The complex is set on 15 acres of lush tropical gardens including fountains and a waterfall. Enjoy Hawaiian birds and the scent of tropical flowers while you relax on your lanai. This property is superb for couples who want to enjoy on-site services and prefer being within walking distance of nearby beaches, restaurants, shopping and nightlife.
Kamaole Sands features a pool area that includes lounge chairs, exercise room, activity center, evening security, eight BBQ’s, picnic area, two tennis courts, two pickleball courts two separate Jacuzzis (one adult only) and a children’s wading pool.

Our unit (818 square feet) overlooks the garden and pool area. Although the unit has air conditioning throughout the living room and master bedroom - on timers - the screen door and large lanai screen door allows for the tradewinds to gently cool the condo to keep you comfortable. The condo is spacious and airy with tile and Pergo flooring throughout. You will find everything you need to cook in the kitchen or barbeque on the new gas grills located throughout the complex. Our condo includes a king-size bed in the master suite and a new queen sleeper sofa (purchased August 2025, photos coming soon!). Draperies in the living room and plantation shutters in the bedroom enhance the quality of our unit. Both the living room and master bedroom feature flat screen televisions. The en-suite washer/dryer allows you to put a load of laundry in the washer while you enjoy breakfast on the lanai. We offer free wireless internet. There is a numbered, free parking space just outside the door for your car. Our local management company ensures impeccable cleanliness. You will enjoy being close enough to everything, but far enough away not to hear street traffic. From our back door to the water's edge at Kamaole Beach III is 444 steps (yes, we counted them), where you can enjoy sunbathing, snorkeling and boogie-boarding. No smoking and no pets please.

Kamaole Sands is located at the south end of the little town of Kihei, and borders on the exclusive neighborhood of Wailea. This is the dry side of the island, with very little rain. Spectacular sunsets are guaranteed almost every night. The largest of three public park beaches, Kamaole III, lies just across the street from the resort and there are two other beaches within a half mile. The beaches just don’t get crowded. The snorkeling is excellent among rocks and coral where you can enjoy tropical fish and lava formations in the warm water at the edge of white sand beaches. The tiny island of Molokini, renowned for the clarity of its water, is not far offshore, and excursions are easy to arrange through the resort’s activity desk. During the winter months, you will certainly catch a glimpse of a playful whale or two that swim very close to shore. From Kamaole Sands, enjoy walking to restaurants, shops and Kamaole I, II and III beaches.

We loved the condo as well as the complex and proximity to the beach!

I had a great time in Kihei, the condo was great! The pictures are fully accurate, and the location is great. The condo is stocked with everything you’d need, including beach gear like chairs and umbrella. Check in and check out were easy, and communication with Jennifer was also super easy! Would totally stay here again, and would recommend!

I love the grounds here. Have stayed in building 10 before which is amazing. This time staying in building 5 which is closer to the pool. It was nice with the views over the gardens and the ocean in the background. The condo its self was decent! Our only complaint was the air conditioner in main bedroom was broken and it took 4 days out of our 8 days there to fix. The trade winds were minimal so it got warm in there without movement. And the condo could used a good deep cleaning in the corners. The property manager was responsive which was nice but unfortunate it sounded like they knew this was a possibility but didn’t fix prior to us getting there. Overall I would stay in Kamaole Sands every time in Maui!
