Cinnamon Ridge, named HGTV’s Caribbean House of the Year in 2020, is a luxurious 6-bedroom, 6.5-bath vacation villa on St. John, USVI, offering privacy, exceptional comfort, and spectacular Caribbean Sea views. Perched approximately 530 feet above Cinnamon Bay, this elegant villa combines upscale amenities with an unbeatable location in the Virgin Islands National Park.
Fully renovated in 2019, Cinnamon Ridge features a private saltwater swimming pool, Tesla battery backup system, Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning throughout, multiple ocean-view decks, and spacious indoor and outdoor living areas. With six private bedrooms and six ensuite bathrooms, the villa is ideal for families, couples traveling together, multi-generational vacations, and groups seeking a luxury St. John villa rental.
Arrival & Great Room
A gated entrance and upper-level parking area welcome you to Cinnamon Ridge. A beautifully landscaped tropical walkway leads to the villa entrance, where an expansive wall of glass immediately showcases breathtaking Caribbean Sea and island views.
The spacious, air-conditioned great room is the centerpiece of the home, combining the living room, dining area, and gourmet kitchen in one open, inviting space. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide panoramic views of the turquoise Caribbean waters and surrounding islands.
The approximately 700-square-foot living room offers comfortable seating, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV for streaming, and spectacular ocean views. Indoor dining accommodates up to 10 guests, with additional outdoor dining areas perfect for sunset dinners, morning coffee, and relaxed island meals.
Gourmet Kitchen
The well-appointed kitchen is designed for both everyday meals and entertaining. It includes a gas cooktop, oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, K-Cup coffee machine, French press, toaster, and blender.
With beautiful ocean views and plenty of space for gathering, the kitchen is ideal for preparing meals with family and friends or hosting a private chef experience at your St. John vacation villa.
Six Bedrooms & Six Ensuite Bathrooms
Cinnamon Ridge offers six air-conditioned bedrooms, providing comfortable accommodations and privacy for larger groups.
Main Level Bedrooms:
Two primary suites on the main level are positioned on opposite sides of the great room. Each features a king-size bed, air conditioning, flat-screen streaming TV, breathtaking ocean views, and direct access to a private deck. Each suite also has a private bathroom with a beautiful stone shower. The bedroom on the left features a private ensuite bathroom, while the bedroom on the right has a beautifully appointed private bathroom conveniently located just outside the bedroom door.
The lower level includes three additional guest bedrooms connected by a shared hallway:
- King bedroom (left) with air conditioning, ensuite bathroom, streaming TV, ocean views and private viewing balcony
- Twin bedroom (middle) with two twin beds that can be converted to a king, plus air conditioning, ensuite bathroom, streaming TV, ocean views, and private viewing balcony
- Two-queen bedroom (right), ideal for families or groups traveling together, with air conditioning, ensuite bathroom, streaming TV, ocean views, and viewing balcony
The newly completed sixth bedroom provides additional flexibility and privacy. This spacious lower-level suite features a king bed, air conditioning, walk-in closet, private ensuite bathroom, and convenient access from either the driveway level or lower-level hallway.
Private Pool & Outdoor Living
Step outside to Cinnamon Ridge’s expansive sun deck and enjoy some of the best ocean views on St. John. The outdoor living area features a private saltwater pool, covered seating, wet bar, flat-screen TV, and multiple spaces for dining and relaxing.
Pool heating is available as an optional add-on for $62 per day, making the pool comfortable during cooler evenings or for guests who prefer warmer water.

Cinnamon Ridge is equipped with Starlink high-speed internet, with upload speeds of approximately 32 Mbps, making it easy to stay connected while enjoying your Caribbean getaway.

The house was beautiful inside and out! Gorgeous views!! The management team was very attentive. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience to celebrate my 50th birthday with some of my closest friends.

This is a really special property. It is tough for pictures to do this place justice. The views and location are simply breath taking. While the journey in and out takes some getting used to, after the first few trips it becomes easy and is well worth it to be perched high above Cinnamon Bay. The house was spacious, with lots of indoor / outdoor space to enjoy. It had plenty of AC in the bedrooms and a lovely pool and hot tub. We loved it!
