We've stayed at a lot of short-term rentals, but from now on, all places will be measured against the rediculously high bar set by the Rotunda.We're a family of nine adults and three kids. There were enough suites to give all five family units their own space. We did not use the mother-in-law apartment, but we did use the two pull out couches so the cousins could stay in their own area."Insane views" doesn't even begin to capture what we saw from the veranda, the pool, the porches, the bedroom windows. Upgraded phone memory might be necessary to capture the unmatched sunsets.The kids (and the adults, too) spent innumerable hours in the pool. We loved how the view from the infinity edge looks over the forest down toward the ocean. All the pool furniture gave ample room to sit in the sun or in the shade.The wide open, airy design of the kitchen and dining areas is perfect for a large family group. Moving out to the outdoor living room on the veranda is a perfect place to wind down the busy day.The bonus feature of the Rotunda is its proximity to the national park. There are many options to enjoy beautiful beaches, hikes in the forest and interpretive walks fhrough historical sites.Ample spices in kitchen. Bring your own coffee. There's plenty of beach towels and some snorkel gear. The house water is safe to drink. There's a large ice machine. Bring lots of reef-safe sunscreen. Restaurant at Cinnamon Bay Beach is great for breakfast. Arrive at beaches before 9am

We loved our stay. The location was great. The views were amazing. The house had everything we needed. Kitchen was great as we cooked in quite a bit. Had a lot of fun in the pool!!

The Rotunda was a beautiful estate with plenty of room for large family vacation. The views overlooking Trunk Bay were so breathtaking that I can’t imagine finding a better place in the world to spend a vacation. David and Julie were very attentive to our needs. Thank you for a wonderful week in St John.
