Great Place to Chill

Staff were friendly and accommodating and place was very relaxing.

We had an issue with the TV service after the first night which was not able to be resolved before we left. It was only a small thing, not a great distraction from our enjoyment of the place.

A wonderful place to stay in Ubud

Our family loved staying here, we booked 3 nights and extended one more night, because we are absolutely in love with the villa. All the staff are very nice and friendly, and the breakfast is great as well. We’re glad to find this hidden gem at Ubud.

The only drawback is probably the show nozzle, making it a bit hard to shower:(

Pool villa with jungle view exactly as on the photos - fabulous!

The staff is fabulous, friendly and always keen to help. Our pool villa with jungle view was amazing - hidden from everything and everyone, full nature immersion. And the pool is excellent!

The only thing to keep in mind is the location in combination with Ubud’s absolutely horrendous traffic, which cannot be mitigated by walking due to either lack or terrible quality of pavements.

Amazing, Will recommend to anyone visiting ubud.

This was our start of a 2 week vacation in Bali. We wanted to start slow and really find the vacay vibe before travelling on. This villa Did the job in every way. Its very serene, no close neighbours. Our kids 13 and 8 - could play in the pool at any hour. We got amazing breakfast made for us every morning( omelettes, pancakes and freshfruits). Lunch we made in the kitchen ( a grocery shop 100 meters away) or we went across the street for amazing coffee and pizza. For dinner we went to the hotel cross the rice field ( 100 meter) great drinks and great pasta ! Or we walked down to ubud centre about 15-20 min walk or you easy get a Goyak ( kind of like uber) that will take you to ubud center in 5 minutes. From the villa we tool a jeep tour to volcano . Arranged by the very smooth help of the Villas personel. We also visited tje monkey Forrest ( 10 minutes away by car ) and we spent 2 nights in ubud center shopping at the market. We loved staying here. And the kids dis not want to leave !

The location was lovely and quiet a very short bike into the centre of ubud Walking distance to 10-15 restaurants and cafes the rooms were large, and beds were comfortable. The rooms were well furnished. A great selection for breakfast each morning.

The lack of ability to communicate with staff, which were frequently not at reception.

secluded jungle.paradise, with you own villa

A little bit of jungle paradise, tucked away from the busy streets of Ubud. We booked the family room for 2 Adults and 2 kids, which meant that we got two rooms, connected by a balcony, over looking the pool. Both rooms had queen beds.

It is not walking distance to Ubud for kids. This means you need to catch a grab to go for dinner.

It was a beautiful villa. We had the whole place to ourselves with our own pool. It was very private. Everyone there was so kind and helpful. A big shout out to Nia, Budi, Bayu and everyone else that we met. You made our stay awesome and my birthday absolutely fantastic. 🙏💕

Amazing stay- highly recommend!!!

The jungle villa with private pool was beautiful! Went above my expectations, we did not want to leave. Bayu and all staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is great just a short 15/20min walk from the main high street with lots of shops/restaurants. We highly recommend this place- thank you :)

Villa is good but not value for money—we paid around ₹8,300–9,000 per night, while in India the same amount can get a 5-star like Hyatt or JW Marriott with better facilities. Here, apart from location, nothing special was offered. Honestly worth only around ₹5,000 per night. Advice: Check nearby villas—you’ll find similar options at much cheaper rates.

Great and private stay close to the nature

The location was great, in walkable distance to the city center, but far enough from all the buzz. Villa is very spacious, surrounded by nature and feels very private (there is also a private pool). There are many breakfast options and they can be adjusted if asked. Staff was very friendly and helpful :)

Cleaning might have been a bit better (such as towels or robes) and in general some facilities could be renewed (toilet or wall paint). But we didn’t have any major issues with that

Lovely villa but away from

Lovely decorated villa with views over the rice field. The staff were very helpful and responsive. Breakfast was lovely.

We didn't realise that the villa we had ( 2 bed with rice girls view) was separate to the main complex, so it was a villa a good few minutes from the main complex. However the hosts were very responsive when we needed anything, this particular vill is just off the main road and do was quite noises with traffic going past.

Our toilet and shower area didnt have any window, so the humidity would get a little bit crazy. Also you had a good 30 mins to the main street.

An absolute Paradise for all Nature-Lovers!

This villa is an absolute dream – you wake up in the morning and feel like you’re right in the middle of the jungle. For nature lovers it’s a true paradise with breathtaking flora and visits from colorful creatures like butterflies, dragonflies, birds and lizards. It’s almost like having your own private safari right outside your door – and all of that by your own private pool! Simply an incredible experience that left us speechless again and again! Furthermore, the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful—every wish was anticipated and fulfilled. Even when we were completely overwhelmed by all the amazing excursion options around Ubud and tried to plan a tour, the owner and the staff helped us organize a tour perfectly tailored to us, one we will surely never forget. Thank you for that! Wonderful accommodation, great helpful staff, delicious food… it was an absolute pleasure for us, and we will certainly (very) soon repeat the experience!

Clean and tidy Villa was lovely pool ,ideal for families.

Villa was spaceious for a family of four. It has two large king beds so our two kids under 10 slept together no issues. Upstairs had master bedroom over looking the lovely private pool. Pool was not too deep and the kids loved it. The backyard pool area was vey private. The team at D'Legon Villas were responsive to any request. Had a problem.with the pool lights and two staff were dispatched immediatly to sort it out. Breakfast was always on time. Villa was spotless and beds made each day

A wonderful stay!

I thought this was great value for money as I got to have a villa to myself rather than just a hotel room. The bed was comfortable, and the sofa in the living room and the decor exceeded expectation. The kitchen could do with an update (the kettle and the micro wave were both on their last legs) but provided everything that I needed. I found the hotel food to exceed expectations as well. The Babur ayam breakfast was soo good! The staff was kind and accommodating and always provided what I asked for, paying attention to detail and even anticipating my needs in small ways! I really appreciated that. All in all a wonderful stay!

I wish the tv actually had channels on it and the ability to sign in to Netflix! The only thing you could watch was YouTube which was very odd.

Lux pool and great breakfast

The pool was lovely, the location was private with a lovely outlook over the rice paddies from upstairs, breakfast was delicious and the hosts were helpful in suggesting someone who could organise activities for us. It was also close to some restaurants and shops so easy to get dinner without having to drive somewhere. Would happily stay there again.

This is probably more about Ubud than the property, but just to note that it is on a narrow busyish road, so not easy to walk too far down it safely. It turned out not to be a problem as we enjoyed the restaurant across the rice paddy. Something else to consider is that the two bedrooms have separate access, which we hadn't realised before. This might be a pro if you are staying with older kids or everyone is an adult, as it did mean there was plenty of privacy, but we stayed there with younger kids and we weren't at a distance where we could hear them if there was an issue.

Decent value but “luxury” in the name is highly misleading

The property is conveniently located, close to central Ubud but away from the commotion. The villa was very spacious. The pool area is lovely.

Needs refurbishing. Air bubbles in the plaster peeling away near the floorboards. Water leaking from the ceiling into the shower area. Large stains on the fitted sheet. Thankfully, the kind owner addressed the latter issues right away.

Able to walk to centre of Ubud but the location was very quiet. The rooms were nice but quite basic.

It was a bit dated. Thought I had booked Villa with private pool so was a bit disappointed to not have what was in my booking ‘photo’. I guess I could have double checked or asked.

Luxurious, good value for money and incredible staff

Our stay at the private jungle villa was absolutely amazing. The staff were so attentive, especially Bayu and Budi who were available to answer any questions and checking we were good! The villa itself was clean, so comfortable and beautifully laid out. We enjoyed our own pool and the multiple decks available. Breakfast was so tasty and good value for quite a bit of food and a great selection to choose from. The location is about 15 mins from downtown but it’s in a great area with lots of local restaurants only a few minutes away with more authentic food and cheaper prices. Don’t hestitate to stay here, it was exceptional! If we come back to Bali, we’ll be here again.

The only small downside was that the dinner meal was a bit bland. It might be made less spicy for our European palates but it could so with being a bit more flavourful! Still rating the whole thing exceptional though and it was fun to explore other eateries.

The villa is beautiful. It has beautiful view, great location and great pool. Perfect for families. We stayed with 2 adults and 3 small children. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Staff were very friendly and so helpful. When our day trip didn't happen we were given Suggestions to walk through the local rice fields which was a lovely experience. Transport was arranged to bring us to Amed at short notice. Breakfast was lovely and the pool beautiful

The property & the service exceeded all our expectations and we had a wonderful time staying there.

The eagerness of the staff to assist their guests. They went out of the way to help / assist guests to achieve their needs. Free breakfast was offered with the package. Their breakfast menu had a large variety to choose from. Tried various items during our 5 nights stay and all of them were very tasty. We also liked their packaged day tour options - we used 2 of their day tours and we enjoyed both of them.

This place is amazing, and much better than the pictures let you see. We stayed in two rooms - one few meters from the pool, but with a private terrasse and garden where breakfast was served. We where picked up and drived to the city-center with few extra costs- such a help. City center is walkable, but after an active day it was great service with a ride. Moreover we went an a great trip to see the surrondings with Nia who is both kind, knowledgeable and the best driver. Lovely trip where we could select which things we would like to do. We loved everything. High level of service - for example when earing dinner staff made our room ready with mosquito-net and evening-light. Mini-bar as cheap as mini-marked. Clean and well kept both rooms and surrondings. We would love to come back.

One small ting: when ordering food from the kitchen the waiting time is quite long- perhaps fewer dishes or make guests aware of the waiting time.

Amazing place

Exceptional hospitality, the double bed jungle view doesnt come with kitchen and pool. But they did let us use the common favillity and its right below us My kids have allergies so needed the kitchen and i was relieved.

Not much not to like .... they are amazing.. You cant walk to the town but in my case i cant compromise the space inside the villa for proximity of town, so this is a good balance 10 mins away from city centre.
