While Costa Rica does have many of the conveniences you are accustomed to having at home, navigating a foreign country can feel a bit tricky. For that reason, we’re here to help curate your experience and itinerary to be the best it can be. From booking surf lessons and ATV tours to arranging your rental car or shuttle, to organizing your private chef and massages, we’re here for you.
Security
Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the véry few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). We would like to understand the dynamics of the group, so we can take care of you, put you in the right house and downsize the chance of you having any issues with this. Please feel free to inquire for more information. If not included, the property manager can arrange a dinner guard at an additional cost. The guest is responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property and for ensuring that all security features available are enabled every time they leave the Property.
Internet and Electricity
In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power, phone, and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. The Guest should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. There is no guarantee that the Internet will always work. We have an excellent mobile phone signal with Kolbi and data rates are very reasonable. If internet access is always crucial, we encourage you to bring an unlocked phone and get a Kolbi SIM card.
Water
During the dry season months of December through April, the Property may have low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut-offs.
Jungle creatures
We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. The Homeowners and Property Manager are not responsible for the fumigation or removal of insects that may enter the Property during the Guest's stay. Even though the house is regularly fumigated on a maintenance schedule, expect to see ants, beetles, spiders, and other assorted insects year-round. Bugs are especially active during the rainy season, May through November. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped, store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters and screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night).
Refunds
No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. This area is a rapidly growing community. There is no guarantee there will not be construction nearby.
Insurance
We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from travelling or fulfilling Rental terms.

Place is great and the pictures are as advertised. Beds super comfy, AC works great, plenty of hot water. Location is private and secluded. Kitchen is great and well appointed. It is a really nice villa and would stay here again. We rented a golf cart that was malfuncting and the house manager was able to quickly resolve and get us a refund with no fuss, which we really appreciated and their recommendations for activities were excellent.

Cuatro Monos is one of the most thoughtfully designed homes and is exceptionally well appointed. As a family of five with three teens ages 18, 16, 14 this home proved the ideal home base for our pause in Nosara. When we left each of us articulated hopes of a return stay in Cuatro Monos.
Too, the Blue Sands concierges are exceptional. They coordinated our travel to and from the Liberia airport, arranged our golf cart rental, and made several supper reservations for us. The coffee tour, ziplining, and surf lessons they planned, all, proved to be exceptional adventures. Really cannot say enough positive about the Blue Sands folks.

We had a fabulous week at Cuatro Monos! The house is beautiful, well stocked, very clean and came with cleaning service as well as pool maintenance. We are a family of 6 and all 4 kids (ages 17-24) had an amazing time. The concierge service was incredibly helpful, check in was easy, it is in a great location a short walk from Bodhi Tree as well as a short golf cart ride to a wonderful organic grocery, the beach, restaurants, etc. There are several layers of security, but the instructions were super easy to follow and it all worked well. There are things to get used to in Nosara like you will not always have piping hot water, but this did not impact our trip at all. Who cares as it is warm and humid outside so a nice cool shower feels pretty good! I also do not think their septic system is the best as occasionally we would have a strong sulfur smell in the house, but I imagine this happens all over Guiones as there is rapid development in this area. Overall, I cannot recommend this house enough. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property! I hope I can come back again next year. Location was roomy, quiet and safe. We walked to the beach every morning for a swim and then Bohdi for yoga. House was so clean and comfortable. Lots of towels and linens for swimming and pool lounging. Concierge was so so helpful with bookings and questions. Highlights were the snorkeling trip and Coffee farm experience with Kenneth. One of our best finds ever! Enjoy
