Affittacamere Albarola - 3p double room

Our apartment was very comfortable, clean, and had a great shower in the bathroom - the best shower we had anywhere in Tuscany. Our host, David, was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our apartment was on the top floor and the stairs are very steep. However, it is located near the bottom of the hill coming from the train so you don't have to drag your luggage up the hill. When coming out of the tunnel from the train, you can easily miss the left turn on a very teeny tiny street, more like a little alleyway. If you get to the main street, you've gone too far - double back and you'll see the tiny street. One level above us was a kitchenette and terrace - both common areas for other apartments in the bldg. If you don't mind climbing up another flight, the terrace has a lovely view of the Ligurian Sea and is a nice place to sit for a night cap or cup of tea. You can hear the train from inside the room, but it didn't bother us. I highly recommend this lovely place and the friendly host, as long as you're okay with hearing the train and the steep stairs inside the building.

This was a beautiful place to stay! Davide was easy to communicate with and gave us great, clear instructions for how to find the place. Clean, comfy bed, and a beautiful rooftop view of the sea. Plus, right between the center of Riomaggiore and the train station!

Dave was wonderful!!!! We missed our train so we took a taxi not knowing the taxi could not drive into the gated neighborhood. Dave came to get us and carried our luggage up the stairs!! Which was a feat in itself! He was kind and so very helpful giving us tips on where to eat and what to see! Even sending us links to the train for day passes! The property was clean and beautiful!!! Wish we could have stayed longer!!! Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic host gave great directions to location. Room was a bit smaller in person, the balcony was outside room and up a flight of stairs. Great view. Very clean. Location was absolutely perfect!
