Welcome to Home on the Banks at Beacon Villas by KEES Vacations!
Walk in from the 2 car-carport right into a den/game room. Here you can enjoy a sporting game of foosball and then retreat to the loveseat and a watch a movie or maybe a sporting event on the flat screen HDTV. A wet bar with a full refrigerator provides a convenient space for your snacks and drinks. A full hall bath and a bedroom with a full over full bunkbed will turn into the kids' retreat. You might not see them for days!
The second level is a great room decorated with hardwood floor, soothing neutral decor and thoughtful touches. A flat panel HDTV invites you to sit down with friends and family as you watch a movie together or discover a favorite new TV show. Vaulted ceilings give the area an open and spacious feel. Exit through the sliding glass doors to enjoy your private balcony. It's a lovely spot to start your morning or end your afternoon with your favorite beverage of choice.
An updated and generous kitchen, with crisp white cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and pendant lighting fixtures awaits the family chef. He or she will have plenty of working space and everything needed to create a memorable meal. The breakfast bar with seating for three invites company and conversation and the rich wood table provides the perfect backdrop to enjoy a delicious meal together.
Two King En Suites grace this second level. The first one of these features a wood bedroom set with coordinated bedding and a flat screen HDTV. Watch whatever you want! The En Suite bath has a large tiled walk-in shower. The second King En Suite is complete with a distressed wood bedroom set, a flat screen HDTV and an En Suite bath with gracious tiled walk-in shower and double vanities.
The third level is the En Suite with 2 Queens that you may just have to flip a coin over. With plenty of privacy, this generous space features a built-in window seat, perfect for your summer reading or catching up with friends online, as well as a lovely En Suite full bath.
A screened porch holds the soothing hot tub that will take away any remaining stress. What could be better than sitting in the hot tub on a cool Outer Banks evening, feeling the bubbling jets work their magic on you? A grill and an outdoor seating area also round out the first level.
As part of the Corolla Light community, you and your group enjoy access to the many fabulous amenities. The resort encompasses 240 acres and is considered to be the most family-friendly resort on the Outer Banks. Corolla Light is home to some of the best beaches anywhere on the Outer Banks and they are patrolled by lifeguards during the summer season.
The three air-conditioned Corolla Light trolleys run every 20-25 minutes during the summer season. Getting around the resort is so easy! Just pick up the trolley at one of the designated stops and off you go. If you're headed to the oceanfront complex, you'll enjoy basketball, volleyball, and shuffleboard courts while you're there.
For those seeking a more natural experience, visit the quiet sound side and take a walk along the mile sound front nature trail. The sunsets off the two piers are glorious and not to be missed. Don't forget your workout routine at our Sports Center or enjoy a game of tennis on one of the 10 tennis courts. At the end of the day, indulge yourself and your family to dinner and drinks at the award-winning Ocean Front Grille. Guests must pick up wristbands for access to amenities at the Corolla Light Sportsplex.

The Oceanfront pools open for general swimming at 10:00 am, with lap swimming available from 10:00 am -11:00 am in the South Pool. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.
**Indoor Community Pools are available all year round 8am to 6pm. Please know that indoor pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.**
**Hot Tubs are available year-round. Hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6pm on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter backyard to clean the spa on scheduled cleaning days.**

We had a great stay at Home on the Banks! The location is convenient to the Shad Street beach access that has a parking lot that we used easily because we were here in September after the main season. The community trolly stopped running before our week, so we drove down and back for convenience. The beach was not crowded and the water was beautiful! The unit is nicely equipped and decorated as the pictures show. We had one minor issue with some outside areas that needed additional attention from the cleaning/maintenance team. I texted the management company and they sent someone over to take care of the items. He was really nice and did a great job and was very pleasant. We used the grill and cooked in the kitchen and found what we needed. There are a variety of restaurants nearby and we balanced eating in and out. We used the community pickleball courts frequently and they are easy to reserve and free. The ones by the beach are in better condition than the other ones, unless they fix them this winter. It was a bit chilly for the pool but we visited them and they were nice with lots of places to sit. The indoor facilities also were nice, although we didn’t need to use them. We visited the horses on a tour and had a great experience. We walked to Currituck Lighthouse from the unit and recommend visiting Kind Cup for coffee and island photos and gifts. If you are looking for a good location in Corolla, I would recommend this place.

The home is more spacious than it appears from the outside and the layout is perfect for families. The downstairs rec room with foosball table and fridge/sink was great for snacks and drinks for our grandkids. All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The great room had lovely beachy decor and plenty of seating for everyone for our seafood feast. The place was spotless and there was ample parking for our 2 SUVs. It’s about a block to public beach access with parking, or easy to hop on the trolley to the main resort pools and walkway to the beach. We had a great time and definitely would book this house again in the future.

Overall, we loved our experience and would rent at this location again. Communication was a little slow and some of the questions we had (such as WIFI name and password) could be taken care of by posting that somewhere within the house. Only other suggestion is to put the kitchen items for guest use in the upstairs kitchen instead of in the entry floor countertop. We didn't use that space so didn't think to look there and did not notice until our last day. We will be back and hope to stay there again!
