The property overall was nice/quaint, but I had to leave after day one of a three day trip because of an allergic reaction to something in the house. I appreciate that the owner refunded a portion of my stay after I contacted VRBO. The owner was very friendly and greeted me despite my late arrival which was nice. That said, the driveway was unmarked/very difficult to find and I drove by 2-3 times before just luckily pulling into the correct driveway.The property as I said was nice, however had there been more photos of the kitchen and bathroom I would not have selected the property because (1) there was only a mini refrigerator and no pantry for the kitchen space and (2) the bathroom was very cramped and had no place to put your toiletries. Additionally, the cottage itself is attached to what looks to be an animal coop for the ducks or other poultry in the photos. If you're looking for a boutique place to stay this is an okay option.

The actual accommodations were quite sufficient and just what my son and I required. The owner took care to provide a few extra conveniences, and ensured the home was comfortable.

Me and my husband enjoyed a nice and quiet weekend. The location was perfect for everywhere we needed to go. The host was very nice and welcoming. We would definitely stay again.

Cozy and comfortable cottage in Birmingham near Glen Iris and George Ward Parks. There are just a few steps to climb and some uneven ground that is easily navigated by most folks. Decor was very welcoming and comfortable. Welcome kit was most inviting.
