Welcome to PS Murphy! This updated 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home is bright and spacious making the perfect retreat for escape or entertainment. Modern furnishings in a stylish yet soothing color palette make for a chic yet casual backdrop for your Palm Springs vacation.
Enter the living room and you'll enjoy an open floor plan with beautiful new tile floor. With plenty of seating, everyone can enjoy an easy afternoon or perhaps an early cocktail hour before heading out to dinner. The living room flows seamlessly into the dining room so no one misses out on the action. The contemporary dining area features seating for 6 or up to 8 comfortably and is steps from the kitchen.
The well-stocked kitchen with new stainless appliances has all the tools you'll need to make entertaining a snap. Downtown is just minutes away just in case you'd rather enjoy the city and sights of Palm Springs.
This home offers great bedroom separation and sleeping arrangements. The primary bedroom, on one side of the house, is spacious and offers its own private, full bath with step-in shower. On the opposite side of the house, you'll find 2 guest rooms: one guest room offers a king bed while the other offers 2 twin beds. These twin beds can be converted to a king with prior notice to management. Just outside each of these bedroom doors is their guest bath.
The backyard is fully decked with tons of entertaining space and plenty of covered seating, too. Outdoor dining is covered so you can maximize outdoor living both day and night. There are 4 chaise lounges to catch the rays you were seeking in Palm Springs. The outdoor kitchen will make grilling fun and the counter at the grill with bar-stool seating ensures you can bring cocktails and snacks to keep the grill master entertained. There's a half-bath/powder room on the patio for everyone's convenience.
Named after the owners' charming Yorkie, PS Murphy is an ideal getaway: comfortable, uncomplicated and suited for every age! Dog-friendly, of course! Murphy wouldn't have it any other way.
Please note that the maximum number of guests for a home this size is 6 (8 if the 2 additional guests are 12 years of age or younger). The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.
- Per City ordinance, no music is allowed outside the (fully enclosed) home, at any time of day.
- Per City ordinance, we are required to have your ID on file. After booking, we will request a picture of the front of your ID.
- Per City ordinance, you must be 25 years of age or older to rent this home.
- Pool Heat is optional but available for $69/day; usually appropriate to heat the pool mid-October to late June. Some advertising platforms will have us add pool heat after booking. Feel free to confirm as necessary.
- Where pet(s) are accepted, this is dog(s) only and we cannot host any other kind of animals in our home.

We had a lovely stay and were comfortable at the Murphy, however the place itself is a bit more faded than the pictures represent. Bathrooms and kitchens were in great shape, but many of the furnishings are ready to be upgraded. The pool area and back yard were lovely and comfortable and the highlight of the house, with beautiful landscaping and lights at night. An easy 5-7 minute drive to downtown. Host was easy to communicate with, accommodating, and just what you hope for when renting.

We really enjoyed this property, took our border collie and lab/shepher, 4 teenagers, and they all LOVED it! The pool is the perfect size, and the back yard area is both luxurious and serene. The only thing I didn’t like was that we couldn’t make any noise after 10PM per rules/threats of fines but I think that’s a local law? When you’re on vacation you don’t really want a curfew to your own backyard.

Centrally located and well appointed with everything you need. The backyard is small but really well laid out with great amenities. It is quite close to the airport but we didn't really notice it after the first day. Very responsive property manager.Only complaint was that the floor and furniture outside was flifthy. It didnt take long to clean but hopefully for the next guests it will be fixed.

We enjoyed our stay and the home was perfect for us. The place was a bit smaller than it seemed in the pictures, but overall it had everything we needed, it was clean, and well maintained. The only issue was that the pool heater was not working properly, so we were unable to use the pool and hot tub for the first 2 days of our stay. A huge thank you to the property manager Gabe who was so friendly, caring, and spent a great deal of time trying to get the pool working for us. He was great and definitely saved our experience there. Overall, the space was great, the location was close to everything we needed and we enjoyed our time.
