About this house rental
Our house is in a mid-century enclave in Palm Springs' "El Rancho Vista Estates."
It has 4 Bedrooms (including a large Master with Sitting Area and private TV), 3 bathrooms, a large pool and hot tub with mountain views, and a fire pit under a gazebo in the yard.
Enjoy a cool martini by the pool, or a warm cup of coffee under the gazebo with nice mountain views!

Desert Oasis Too is located close to the tram, several golf courses (including Escena Golf Club), hiking, downtown shops and restaurants, and several houses on the midcentury modern tour. The home is also walking distance to restaurants, a park, and the famous shows at the Toucan lounge.
City of Palm Springs ID #3157. Primary renter must be 25 years of age or older, per Palm Springs Vacation Rental Code. Per standard practices in Palm Springs, Pool + Spa heat is optional, for an additional cost ($50-100 per day, depending on time.)

This was a great Palm Springs stay! The property was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the home was stocked with everything we needed. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with, and we loved spending time in the outdoor space. Highly recommend!

This home was perfectly suited for our family vacation. Spacious, well supplied kitchen, appreciated all the towels given our use of the swimming pool. Great location, close to shopping, Joshua Tree and cycle running path. Thanks to our hosts…

Pros:

Cons:
Almost every dish we took out was dirty. We ended up cleaning them all in the dishwasher before using them. There was no dish soap provided, and no kitchen cleaner to wipe down the counters with. There were no trash bags under the sink. We eventually found them in the garage.
Two of the showers were very dirty. my daughter-in-law wore her flip flops to take a shower because it looked so dirty in their shower.
A/C did not work well in the main living areas. And we had to leave all the curtains closed since the windows aren’t tinted because it made it even hotter in there with them open. In turn making it dark and depressing in the house . At one point all 6 of us hung out in the master bedroom just to cool off.
A/C also didn’t work in the twin room. My poor daughter was hot all night long
The backyard looked like it hadn’t been attended to for a long time. The chair pads were filthy, no way of sitting out there in the evening to enjoy the fire pit without cleaning the whole area ourselves.
They had floaties for the pool but again they were all coated with dirt
Pillows were missing from the living room sofa which made it uncomfortable to sit on
Bedrooms were very bright in the mornings, they do not have blackout curtains.
Sadly we would not stay here again or recommend to anyone
