The Space:
Take a deep breath, relax and enjoy!
Breathe in the freshness. We are close to a lot of Santa Cruz beaches, yet our location is just far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. Take a long walk or bike down West Cliff Drive, visit the lighthouse, or stop at one of the many Santa Cruz beaches.
Relax in our newly remodeled home decorated with a coastal feel. Our goal is to provide families with a warm and inviting home away from home. Wake up and sit out on the front patio with a morning cup of coffee. And unwind in the evenings with a BBQ on the patio or lively conversations by the fire pit.
Additional Pet fees do apply, per pet. Dogs must not exceed 45lbs and must be more than 1 year old. If you feel your situation regarding your pet warrants reconsideration of these guidelines, please contact the Beachnest office.

We were so pleasantly surprised but how big this place felt, how clean it was, how great the back yard space was, and the location was delightful. We would definitely here again. We just wished to organ inside was working as one of our guests is a musician and piano player! Overall terrific even if no view of the ocean- but literally steps to west cliff path- wonderful!

We were a group of old friends spanning 40+ years who decided to meet up for a few days in Santa Cruz. We used the west cliff getaway as a meeting point and a few of us spent the night there. The house was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Our only complaint was that it didn’t sleep 10 people; only four of us could sleep comfortably which included sleeping on a sofa.

Great location, a run-down house. I think a great vacation rental doesn't have a lot of the owner's stuff. That is not the case here. The kitchen has way too much stuff. Who needs twenty of the same plates? The furniture is dated and not so comfy. An organ in the living room takes up way too much room and the room can be used in a much better way. TVs that are from the 1990s (really video tape players). There are plastic chairs in the backyard that are so dated. The AC is in the closet and so loud.
The ocean is close by, so you can escape the house, I guess. We left a day early.
