About this apartment rental
This tastefully remodeled condominium is a true home away from home. It contains all of the household necessities you will need and more. The oceanfront location allows you to fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the waves. One can take a picture of the sunrise without getting out of bed.
It is truly a prime location on the island, since one can spend the entire vacation without leaving Bolongo Bay. Bolongo has three of the most popular restaurants on St.Thomas: Lobster Grill, Iggies, and Mims. Lobster Grill features live music and a romantic ambiance, Iggies has all you can eat days and karaoke nights, and Mims (a family owned and operated authentic caribbean seafood restaurant) serves by far the best lobster on the Island. Bolongo Bay also has its own Diving Club, which provides a full range of services, for example: diving instruction/excursions, snorkeling excursions, and equipment rentals. Additionally on the beach, you can find jet ski rentals and excursions. In addition there is are 2 tennis court, 3 pools, a beach volleyball court, and a small cave for exploring at the Eastern tip of the bay.
There is also a small family operated hotel carrying the name of the Bay, Bolongo Bay and Beach Resort. It is known for hosintg lavish weddings on the beach and planning catamaran trips (boat named: Heavenly Days; docked on Bolongo Bay).
However if you are interested in exploring the rest of the island, you are very close to most points of interest. (see map) Additionally there are ferries which take you to other US and British Virgin Islands from Crown Bay Marina and Red Hook Marina.

The host was polite and very responsive to our needs. The condo was clean and functional and had almost everything we needed. There were ice packs in the freezer for our beach cooler. The beach umbrella was great! The beach chairs were mostly rusty and broken, they definitely need to be upgraded. It was nice to have a parking spot and not have to worry about parking. We would stay here again.

The reviews tell you it all already. I chose to ignore the many problems already listed due to the limited options and the gorgeous view. Very dated furnishings, heavy wood in master half the drawers wont open or get stuck. terrible water pressure (may just be island thing) Fridge very old, took the fridge a day and half to get our drinks and water to te right fridge coldness, freezer was fine but ice maker is intermitten (went out for partial days or hours with out making ice for no apparent reason). Lastly THE DOORS , I had already read they were difficult but this was crazy and made much worse by sheer neglect for maintenance. The door hande in the master was srewwed in only at the top and swinginf by a screw. so on top of it being EXTREMELY difficult to puch or pull it was broken and sharp on one end. THE MAIN DOOR was crazy.... THERE IS A SIGN SAYING USE BOTH HANDS. FIRSTLY YOU DONT HAVE A CHOICE IN THE MATTER. Secondly in makes you so aggrevated that you either just wont close it or everyone goes thru someones bed room to get outside. At one point my daughter who is 5'2 about 140pnds, was pulling this door closed and the whole piece of metal that frames the door came off in her hand while the did did not budge. called owners and they were implying it would be ok since left Tues and it was Sunday We couldnt close the door period!!! The door in the second room dont close with out moving one of the beds for main door, and scooting over washer for bathroom door.
