About this house rental
Villa La Ginestra is a comfortable villa sleeping 11 in the North of Umbria, ideal for families travelling together or a group of friends. From the house, one has a wonderful view over the Upper Tiber valley.
The vacation villa La Ginestra is situated North of Perugia, 6 kilometres from Umbertide. Enjoy the beautiful, wide views over the Tiber valley in an unspoiled and quiet setting. There are 6 bedrooms and three bathrooms. Originally, the villa was built with three separate apartments. Between the villa and the pool, you will find a reading room with comfortable sofas.
The pool has beautiful views over the green Umbrian hills. It is 12 by 6 meters and between 1.20 and 1.50 meters deep. The pool terrace has recliners and umbrellas. The pool terrace is surrounded by lavender and other herbs. The pool area has been completely fenced. There is an extra outside toilet, not far from the pool. Here you will also find a washing machine.
The vacation rental has one covered outside sitting area in front of the house under some old trees. There is a second covered sitting area at the side of the house, on a slightly higher level.
You will find a barbecue and nice flowers in pots. The garden is well-maintained and green. The road is totally tarred up to the last 50 meters.
The vacation villa can host a maximum of 11 guests. On the ground floor is an apartment with a spacious kitchen fitted with an oven, refrigerator, small dishwasher, a 4-burner gas cooker, and a dining table. There are two bedrooms, a double with a bathroom in the room and a twin with a bathroom in the hallway.
On the first floor are a living room and a second, smaller kitchen with a small dishwasher, oven, 4 pit gas cooker, and a small fridge. On this floor are four bedrooms. Two on one side (one double and one twin) sharing a bathroom, and two more on the other side, a double bedroom and a single bedroom sharing a bathroom.
The vacation villa has old wooden beams. It used to be a typical Umbrian farmhouse and has been restored, using traditional materials.
A dog is welcome, one pays euro 50 in cash extra. The grounds are completely fenced.
Use of the heating is charged based on consumption: €6/m3.
There is no air conditioning, but each bedroom has a fan.
