Terrapuri Heritage Resort, Penarik

Las cabañas son bonitas y el desayuno rico. Fuimos a este hotel solo para poder ver las luciérnagas, habíamos enviado varios mensajes para que nos reservaran el viaje por el río pero no recibimos respuestas. Al final sí que pudimos hacerlo a pesar de ser solo dos personas cuando el mínimo eran cuatro

La habitación parecía un horno al llegar, sería deseable que encendieran el aire un par de horas antes de la llegada de los huéspedes. Además, los mosquitos se cuelan por cualquier lado, menos mal que había mosquitera en la cama. La comida, excepto el desayuno, muy regular

L’emplacement. Les maisons sont uniques, 200 ans … le jardin et tout autour c’est vraiment très joli et très bien entretenu. C’est un endroit très calme et reposant. Les trois personnes qui s’occupent du resort étaient très bien

La nourriture est très basique, à part le petit déjeuner qui était ok. Quand nous étions là nous n’avons pas eu d’eau pendant deux jours mais nous n’avons pas vu le propriétaire, c’était juste les deux femmes qui managent le resort et soit dit en passant , elles font tout : le ménage, la cuisine , etc… seulement deux personnes pour un resort de 22 chambres (maisons), forcément cela ne peut pas être parfait !

The breakfast is simple but score high marks with personalise service provider by the staff. The enviroment exceed expectation.

Owner must think how to make the room comfortable during hot season.

Location and historical buildings were as expected, the staff were as helpful as they could be and very friendly

The maintenance was bad the air conditioning was not working and no maintenance staff available. The food was limited and pre-booked dinner acceptable. Despite menu options breakfast was hit or miss no choice so day 1 was OK local Nasi Lemak and day 2 some sort of sweet pancake with no option. The far too common response to requests was “sorry out of stock” I suspect this is NOT the local staff problem but caused by the absent management.
