My family had a great week on Frye Island. The cottage is a classic "camp" older but comfortable with plenty of space to accommodate 6 adults. I'd say better for 4 adults and 2 children as one room has bunkbeds and there is only 1 bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and the beach is private and spacious.

My family have been coming to FI for over 40 years and have stayed at this cottage several times, but this is the first time under new ownership. The renovations/upgrades to the house are a great improvement. The beds are new, the kitchen is well stocked with enough of everything and the day bed and A/C on the newly redone porch was fantastic during the 90+ weather we had. Finishing the ramp was also a great add. We would come back again in a second. The only drawback is the one bathroom but I am guessing the lot might not allow two. An outdoor shower would be a great addition!!
