About this cottage rental
Newly renovated lake front cabin / house with private beach and private dock, two person kayak, single person kayak and 2 paddle boards included. Perfect location for complete seclusion with close friends and family. Frye Island, in the Sebago Lake Region of Maine is one of the most sought out places to vacation in Maine. The seclusion, wildlife, calm and tranquility is perfect for every vacation. The cottage has plenty of updated amenities to make this a memorable stay. The western views of the sunset is one of the most famous views in Maine. There is plenty of sleeping quarters which would comfortably accommodate 7 guests. Frye Island offers 12 sandy association beaches, a swimming pool, tennis courts, golf course, a restaurant and an ice cream stand. Sebago Lake is a large lake with plenty of room for boating and fishing including access to Brandy Pond and Long Lake via the Songo River, for 40+ miles of boatable waterway. Please note this property does not supply pillows, blankets, linens or towels. We have added a larger kitchen, 2 additional bedrooms, a 3rd bathroom and a walk in pantry. Also a screened in porch overlooking the water. We have also added bonus amenities such as a commercial ice maker and coffee bar.

Lovely quiet, private house on Frye Island. Perfect stay for the family and kids loved private beach access. They used the lily pad, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards and swam all day. House was perfect for relaxing, excellent deck for grilling and hanging out. We loved our stay and highly recommend!

A great time was had by all. Property is beautiful, host was wonderful. Exceeded my expectations. Felt like home away from home on an island on a lake. Fun exploring, swimming, sunrise to sunset!

We had a wonderful stay at this very nicely put together cottage on Sebago Lake. It was an incredibly peaceful and relaxing spot that was great for our little children to play in the water and on the property. The host was very easy to communicate with and the house was very nicely appointed. In particular, families with little children will appreciate the relatively warm waters of Sebago Lake, the little beach on the property, the numerous beaches on Fry Island, and all the easy access to Portland and Coast locations about an hour to an hour and a half away. For those not used to renting houses in New England, please note that the owner does ask you to bring your own towels, pillows and bed linens.
