About this house rental
Stones Throw Cottage is a luxury bungalow close to UNT, I35 and the downtown square. Enjoy fresh and modern furnishings, incredibly comfortable beds and fast internet. Just a stones throw away from UNT (1 block) and 2 miles from TWU. Also nearby is the enchanting Quakertown Park. Lots of shady walking opportunities!

★ Cook to your heart’s content in the well-appointed “cheery” kitchen with Keurig coffee maker, modern appliances, breakfast nook, cooking island—and more—including a toaster, blender, snacks, teas and spices.
★ The cottage comes equipped with a washer and dryer, Smart TV’s, HIGH SPEED wifi and safety features.
★ At the end of the day, relax on the back patio complete with party lights strung over the vintage-style metal table and chairs.
★ Then once you have had your fill of fun and relaxation, sink into your crisp cotton percale sheets and luxury bedding. Ahh!

* The cottage is not childproof. Notify host if bringing children or if children are visiting.
* PETS to be approved in advance. Prefer no multiple pets unless prior approval is met. A non-refundable pet deposit is required. Deposit waived for people with disabilities who have assistance animals registered with the state. Ask to see our pet policy.
* There is a surveillance camera on the front porch.

Rented for 10 weeks during UNT summer school. Was able to walk to campus. Very convenient! Host was very helpful.

Very nice stay . Very clean and comfortable. If there anything bad to say, it would be if your coming in a group of cars there is no parking. So two cars tops on the drive way. I would stay here again.

The hosts are extremely kind, and even after multiple attempts to fix a specific issue with this property, it persisted forcing me to terminate the agreement earlier than expected. The beautifully renovated house was in the perfect location and the perfect size. However, the 3rd bedroom wasn’t usable due to a very strong mildew odor. In fact, the smell seeped into the entire area which inevitably permeated all of my bedding and clothing. I realize there’s only so much you can do with an old home, but a repair is definitely required to bring it up to a proper standard. Unless this sort of thing doesn’t bother you.
