About this house rental
Walk to stores, restaurants or stroll through the gorgeous campus of TWU and Quakertown Park, the home of Denton Arts & JazzFest. Go back in time and relax on the enchanting front porch; perfect for having a beverage and people watching.
Lovingly remodeled and restored to its former grandeur. Thoughtful touches throughout. Restored hardwoods, shiplap walls, vintage decor, original art. Fall in-love with the delightful kitchen with modern appliances, farm sink, champaign bronze fixtures, shiplap walls and butcher block countertops. Coffee, teas, spices, dishes and cooking supplies are all provided. Each bedroom has a queen brass bed, Serta Perfect Sleeper pillow-tops and high quality cotton percale sheets. The living room has a sofa pull-out with a full-sized memory foam mattress.
Both bathrooms are updated and full of charm! There is also an expansive backyard and patio, front load washer & dryer, ample parking and so much more!
* Must follow The City of Denton noise, no party and parking ordinances. Details in the Cottage Welcome manual or ask for links.
* The cottage is not child-proofed. Inform host if bringing children, and their ages, for safety instructions. Best suited for older children.
* There is off-street parking for up to 3 cars, or 4 with permission. There is also a spacious partially-fenced backyard with a patio and a grill for your use. Contact host for grilling supplies location. Note that yard is not fully fenced and there is no garage.
* Pets must be approved in advance. Please inform host if bringing a pet.
* Owner of Shiplap Cottage is a Realtor/Broker. Check out RealEstateManDFW in Denton for brokerage information. Note surveillance cameras are on front and back porch.
* The cottage comes equipped with everything you should need, but there is no garage. Not suited for extra storage of excessive belongings, like packed moving boxes or furniture. Shed on premise for suitcases and containers, but recommend guests store extra belongings in a storage facility.
* IMPORTANT! if you are pulling a trailer or UHaul, please contact host for driveway configuration details in advance of your arrival.
* Maintenance may need to be conducted during your stay, in which we will give you prior notice.

Excellent cottage with updated kitchen, bathrooms, and a fantastic location. Hosts communicated quickly and everything was available from day one. Great guest binder with clear home instructions and what a great cottage, I said it again! Would stay there again and highly recommend it. Thank you Lauren.

The cottage was so comfortable and had everything we needed. Our hosts were available if needed and responded quickly. Easy walk to the square and great coffee across the street! Highly recommend.
