About this house rental
Detached house, of 190 sq.m, adjoining the owner's one, that can accommodate 10 people. Laid out on 3 levels in a contemporary style. The house is equipped with 5 bedrooms (4 double beds and 2 single beds). 3 Bedrooms are located on ground floor and equipped with a television. There is a shared shower room with 2 bowls sinks, a walk in shower and a bathtub. Separate toilets. The first floor offers a lounge / living room with television, opening on the dining room and the equipped kitchen with dishwasher. 2 Bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom (bathtub and bowl sink in the first one and walk-in shower and bowl sink in the other one). Separate toilets. In the basement, you will find a wellness centre offering a sauna, a Spa, a walk-in shower, a separate toilet and fitness equipment, as well as access to the terrace and the garden. Laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Private car park. Wi-Fi. Beds are made upon arrival. Close to the D28 (departmental road).

Kientzheim is a very charming village. Very good restaurant in walking distance.
Slight disadvantage is the nearby road. Bit of noise in the early morning.

First, as travelers from the US, we are used to having a lot of space. This house had plenty of it and it was perfect for our family of 6. It was very clean and Christian was super nice and responsive. We would return without question. We had a car rented which I highly recommend.
Now…Keintzheim…what a gem. This cute little town was great. 2 amazing restaurants, walkable, and very residential. It is very much different than surrounding towns. We found if we wanted to “go out” we would go to Kayersberg for shopping or lunch (3 min drive). It was easy to get around to the other numerous villages. Haut-koenigsbourg is 40 mins away and don’t forget the monkey park just south of the chateau. Colmar was 20 min but not really necessary unless you want to do the river boat ride and dinner.
We stayed for 4 nights and kept busy the entire time.
Overall the property and area was exceptional and we would love to return one day!

Whole group enjoyed our stay in this well equipped and clean property. Using the garden for eating involved a lot of running up and down stairs! Wifi worked perfectly, spa and sauna much appreciated.

The location was even better than we expected, lovely views over the vineyards to the mountains. Very handy for the famous local villages on the wine route. Only took us an hour to get Strasbourg and to Europa Park as well. Friendly welcome from Christian to a very clean and enormous house. Made good use of the garden and BBQ. The house is on 3 levels, with the lounge, kitchen and 2 bedrooms on the top floor, which made life hard for one elderly member of our group, otherwise this would be 5 stars for us. We did joke that Christian must have a microphone in the house as when we spotted two minor items that needed repair outside, they had been fixed the very next day, as if Christian had been listening :+). We would recommend this accommodation.
