Escape to the peaceful countryside and enjoy a stay in our spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath farmhouse, nestled at the end of Palisades Drive in Pembroke, Virginia. Perfect for families, groups of friends, or visiting Hokies, this home offers the tranquility of a rural retreat while being conveniently close to Virginia Tech and Radford University.
The Space:
Our cozy farmhouse comfortably sleeps 8 guests across 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms and an upstairs lounging area. Two full bathrooms ensure everyone has the space and privacy they need during their stay. Relax in the multiple living spaces or whip up a delicious meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. There are three distinct dining areas perfect for family meals or game nights. Our farmhouse is close to the Never River and the Norfolk and Western Railway. The train is active and passes by several times each day.

Located just 25 minutes from Virginia Tech, our farmhouse is ideal for alumni events, football games, or graduation weekends. For Radford University visitors, it’s only a 40 minute drive. During the fall, enjoy stunning views of the changing leaves, and in the spring, experience the area's beautiful wildflowers.
For guests interested in hosting events such as weddings, family reunions, or other gatherings, prior approval is required. A separate event contract must be signed, outlining specific terms and rules to ensure the appropriate use of the property. Without this additional agreement, only registered guests staying in the house are permitted on the premises. Unauthorized events or gatherings without prior approval may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement. Please contact us in advance to discuss your event plans and ensure we can accommodate your needs. This helps ensure compliance and maintain the peaceful ambiance of the property while accommodating larger events under proper terms.

We have stayed in many rentals over the years, but nothing compares to this farmhouse. The photos are gorgeous, but somehow they still don’t capture the true magic of this place. From the moment we turned onto the quiet gravel lane and saw the home nestled among rolling fields, we knew we had found something special.Inside, the house is immaculate, beautifully decorated, cozy, and full of charm. Every room feels curated with care — warm wood tones, soft colors, thoughtful touches — yet still completely livable and inviting. The beds are dreamy, the linens plush, and the entire house feels spotless and lovingly maintained. It’s one of those rare homes where you instantly feel both pampered and at home.The outdoor spaces are pure serenity. The expansive lawn is perfect for dogs or kids to run free, and the quiet sitting areas scattered across the property offer views in every direction. We loved sipping coffee in the morning on the back porch. Even the passing freight trains add to the countryside ambiance — distant enough not to disturb, but close enough to give the setting a nostalgic, storybook quality.Location-wise, it’s perfect: just far enough into the countryside to feel secluded and peaceful, yet still an easy drive to Blacksburg and Virginia Tech. It was ideal for our fall visit — the colors were stunning.
