About this castle / palace rental
120 sqm, wlan, satellite, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge. A separate double bedroom can be rented with a bathroom, so that a total of four plus two guests have space. The price is for four guests. For the extra room you have to pay € 25,00 per night.
In the middle of one of the most picturesque, medieval villages of Tuscany. 160km north of Rome, we rent in a 800 year old castle-Schlösschen a charming apartment, which we have lovingly and high quality furnishings.
Five minutes drive to the splendid thermal baths in Saturnia and to the golf course (18 holes), or to horseback riding and also wonderful hiking. Very close to clean rivers - very nice for picnics and bathing with children - 40 minutes you need to dream beaches. You will always drive through the lush unspoilt olive and wine landscape of the Maremma.
It is also close to the famous Sovana Cathedral, to the atiken excavations in Roselle or to the impressive historic towns of Pitigliano or Oriveto. The whole area is full of art-historical pearls.
The fast-paced medieval 500-souls village with its quaint bars, pubs and good restaurants is pure Italian idyll. Romans and Florentines come here for a gourmet meal in the two-star "Caino".
In the apartment (120sqm), which has three bedrooms (2 double, 1 french double bed, baby cradle), a large shower room and 2 wet cells, can accommodate up to six people comfortably.
My accommodation is located in Piazza del Castello, where Milos Forman shot scenes of his famous movie Amadeus. If you want to enjoy the poetic backdrops in the Piazza, you can put a chair on the piazza.

Parking is 30 meters away.
Included in the price, bed linen, towels, electricity, hot water.
To be paid on the spot: final cleaning € 60,00
Deposit: 300,00 Euro will be refunded on departure unless there are significant damages

We had a wonderful stay and all the family were sad to leave. The apartment is charming, clean and very well equipped.
The housekeeper, Antonella, is very helpful and came to our aid when needed.
The town is family friendly with some great restaurants and shops. We will miss going out for late night gelato and making friends with the many local cats.
