About this house rental
Woodlands was built in 1905 as a gentlemen’s country residence. It sits at the end of a quiet road ten minutes walk from picturesque Giggleswick village in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The enchanting Lord’s Wood borders the house to the west and there are spectacular views from the terrace over the Ribble Valley to the east. A 15 minute walk down The Mains takes you to the pretty market town of Settle, with shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs, as well as a theatre and swimming pool.
There are 12 bedrooms, most with ensuite sleeping 24 in total.

Great range of rooms for 11 adults. Clean bedding. Great communication from the host.Spacious house with plenty of spare rooms to have some quiet time, if required.Not all rooms have bathrooms but there are plenty of toilets and showers around the house to accommodate everyone. Would highly recommend for family or friends groups.

Beautiful yet very practical house in magical surroundings. Perfect for large groups of all ages. We were 19 persons age 2-70, all loved it. Nice nearby villages Giggleswick/Settle and direct access to footpaths to panoramic views.

Great property in a fabulous location. Everything was made easy for us, leaving us to enjoy the weather, the walking and the local area. I would whole-heartedly recommend

The house was a fantastic find, plenty of room for all 18 of us and the dog was also well catered for. It's in a great spot with lots of walks on the doorstep and a couple of great pubs for food and drinks just at the bottom of the road.
There is an oldy worldy charm to the house but it has all the mod cons you would need. The kitchen in particular is very well stocked should you be eating in and the dining room is the perfect place to host.
We would certainly look to book again whenever we get the opportunity to bring the whole family together.
