We were blessed with visiting during the hottest and sunniest week of the summer so far.
The location couldnt have been better for our liking of a quiet country retreat but close to amenities. The property is surrounded by open fields and a superb landscaped garden which was a delight to come back to each evening after our tours and walks.

Beautiful garden, but expensive and difficult to get a taxi if you wanted to go out in the evening for a drink
Nothing could have been better from the accommodation or host. The cost of taxis and availability to get out without a car was an issue

Superb!
Lovely location, beautiful grounds and comfortable well equipped property. Friendly helpful owners who provided fruit, eggs, wine and delicious home made cake. Lots of maps and info on the local area which was really useful in planning our outings and walks. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we would love to come back in future.
If nitpicking, one could criticise the creaky floors upstairs, but really that was part of the charm of the property. A second loo downstairs would have been useful.
