Comfortable and spacious 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condominium unit w/ expansive decking overlooking the entire first fairway of the Arnold Palmer designed Legend Golf Course at Shanty Creek Resorts. Short walk to all the amenities at Summit Village, including the main Lakeview Hotel and restaurant, Timberline shops, pools, playground, and The Legend and Summit pro shop.
This unit features two master suites with king bed in each bedroom, Jacuzzi tub in both bathrooms, full kitchen, family living area and in-unit laundry. Well designed to accommodate two couples, or families with up to a total of 8 occupants.
All guests are welcome to use the indoor or outdoor pools at The Lakeview Hotel, and the beach club facilities on Lake Bellaire (2 mile drive). At Shanty Creek Resorts you have your choice of 5 championship golf courses, tennis and pickleball courts, biking/hiking trails, and multiple dining options.,
Shanty Creek is 2 miles from downtown Bellaire and Short’s Brewery, 15 minutes to Torch Lake, 45 - 50 minutes to Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petoskey or Gaylord. In the heart of The Chain of Lakes, Shanty Creek is centrally located to take in so many great destinations in northern Michigan!

We had a wonderful stay. The heated floors were such a cozy touch and made everything feel extra comfortable. The jacuzzi tubs were a highlight—perfect for relaxing after a long day. On top of that, the views were absolutely beautiful and added to the overall peaceful, getaway feel. We would definitely come back!

Excellent lodging! Tons of room. Extremely clean. Owner is very nice and responsive if necessary. Having laundry on-site is nice feature and all the amenities you need! Beautiful views out the windows and lots to do in northern Michigan.

Everyone liked the heated floors. The layout gave parents and kids private space. The kitchen was just big enough to prep light eating. TVs in every room allowed people to watch what they wanted in evening. Fireplace was cozy! We really liked the proximity to the main hotel for getting coffee and also how to close Bellaire for shopping. We were there to ski and the main hill is only 10 min away.

We have stayed at Shanty Creek many times and this unit is excellent as we expected. The one problem was the description on VRBO. The unit was described as first floor, which is technically correct. We were dismayed to learn that this is a three-story building with the second floor on ground level and this unit on the basement level requiring 27 steps to navigate each time. My 91 year-old wife with heart problems had great difficulty doing this. We left the property only once each day and had to adjust our schedule accordingly. Six trips up and down these stairs with our luggage on arrival and departure didn’t help my 85-year-old heart much either.
