“Let's Do Sunset” is the perfect name for this adorable cottage! Boasting a great pool area with Tiki Bar and sparkling pool, the sunset views from the rooftop deck are absolutely breathtaking! Rent bikes or bring your own, because this established local neighborhood has quiet streets and miles of bike paths along the sound for gorgeous views. Located on the west side, near the sound, there is plenty of free parking at beach accesses all along Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills to take advantage of for a day on the beach. Meanwhile, when the day on the beach is done, you will have a quiet, charming and delightful refuge for your family to enjoy. The kitchen has beadboard cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and quality countertops. The décor is beachy cottage chic. Bedrooms have quality bedding, pretty décor, and LCD TV's.
This is a good selection for families because of the quiet streets and lovely neighborhood to enjoy while walking. Plenty of decks and the gated pool deck make it easy to relax. Centrally located to restaurants, family activities, movies and shopping. Select the house locals would pick at “Let's Do Sunset”.

All Outer Banks Blue vacation rentals include bed linens, with beds made prior to your arrival for convenience. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant, and 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per sink. Kitchens include drying towels. We also provide a starter supply of paper towels, dishwashing detergent, and toilet paper.

Overall it was a nice place for it to be both pet friendly and have a pool. Although some pictures do not appear to be accurate at least any longer. The grills seen in pictures are not whats on the property, and when arriving the night of check in my party planned to use the grill. The grills seen propane was empty and the house ac was off so was extremely hot inside. I had to swap the propane at a self service nearby and was told this would be covered but since I could not show receipt as the self service machine at night did not provide one I could not be reimbursed. There was a welcome bag from the property management team so this is where my only frustration comes in as they could have turned on the ac day off to get the house cooler for check in arrival, and confirmed if there was more than enough left for usage in the propane tank before a large party checked in.The ac unit did stop working but the property management team worked quickly and effectively to try and provide a temporary fix by installing window fan units and a plug in fan until a vendor could come out to repair the ac. Luckily the vendor also showed up relatively quick as well so this was taken care of so that was indeed awesome.

If you are worried about renting a beach house with carpet, you should be! My kids picked this one out because of the pool and the roof deck, both of which were very nice. But the house reeked of fish when we walked in, and the sun room was so rank it made my husband gag. In an effort to save our vacation, we bought 4 candles, 2 air fresheners and 2 bottles of febreze for carpets. After a full treatment, the house did smell good, so I am hoping whoever came after us enjoyed that. On the bright side, the house had some nice updates and appeared very clean, other than the stinky carpet. It is just such a bad idea for a beach house, especially one that allows dogs. Mine was sniffing around everywhere, interested in the way he is when he smells other dogs’ pee, so I am guessing some dogs also marked the carpet while there. If the owners install some vinyl tile or plank, we would definitely come back. If not, we will pass.

The house is beautiful and has everything that you will need for your stay however we ran into a couple of issues while there and the realty company showed no urgency in fixing the issues. Loved the area and the views and will rent again in that area just not through the rental agency.
