Campolaia is an old farmhouse that dates back to the 1700s and was completely renovated in 1999. It is surrounded by greenery in a panoramic and secluded on the edge of the Garfagnana and offers the opportunity for 2 to 18 people to stay depending on what you needs. Ideal for large families and groups of friends, but also for all those who love privacy and quiet.
Fully fitted including satellite TV, DVD, stereo, wireless internet (which extends up to the pool), washing machine and kitchen equipped with everything you might need.
Outside there is a 6m by 13m pool, a large wood-burning pizza oven, a barbecue, 2 mountain bikes, a children’s play area and lots of open grassland especially appreciated by children and animals who are welcome in the property. If you are lucky you may see squirrels, deer and small birds of prey.

If you are looking for a quiet holiday, in the countryside, away from the smog and noise, if you like adventure, sports, nature, if you want to visit parks, museums and see unspoilt corners of our mountains this is definitely the place for you.
The local village is about 2 km away, the house faces south and the sun from dawn to dusk. We are about 350 meters above sea level and the climate is ideal all year round, but especially in summer with warm sunny days and cool evenings.
We suggest nothing more than that you visit us to enjoy not only the spectacular colours of an unspoilt landscape, but the opportunity to try Lucca’s cooking with dishes, desserts and more.
For those who require baby-sitting, daily cleaning, cooking, a taxi service and excursions are all available on request.
