Lavandula is a gem of retreat, neatly tucked away in the heart of Burnham Market, yet only a few minutes drive to the coast. This beautifully appointed and grown up bolt hole is perfect for romantics and families with older children.
Less than five minutes' walk into the centre of bustling and trendy Burnham Market, this lovely property has a romance about it, with lashings of style too. With a modern contemporary feel and lots of London influences, this wonderful love nest would equally be a perfect holiday retreat for a couple or friends wanting to holiday in a top-notch retreat, within a few minutes' walk of all the fabulous restaurants and shops that Burnham Market is so well known for. The owners have really gone to town making this modern cottage unique and different with fabulous wallpapers, ceramics and art. The designer touches combine to make you feel like you are the only guests in a boutique hotel. Tom Raffield lighting, Heal's furnishings, Kartell lighting, Italian driftwood table, luxury linens, Dualit kitchen appliances make this a fabulous homestay and one you will want to return to again and again.
With Sky TV you will enjoy snuggling down on a winter's evening on the squashy sofas or on warmer days sunning yourself in the pretty back garden, before planning your day on the beach at Brancaster, Holkham or Wells-next-the-Sea. If you love your history, then head to The Hoste in the village, where you can enjoy the Admiral Lord Nelson exhibition, before visiting his birthplace in nearby Burnham Thorpe. Located opposite the village car park, you can take a short walk into the village to buy fresh croissants or to stock up your picnic basket before you head off to the beach.
