Luxury Canvas Group Glamping Tent | Adirondacks in Corinth, NY

The cleanliness of the tents and the washrooms was quite superior to many hotels I’ve stayed in. The site has a very large and well maintained pool which we (especially the children) enjoyed immensely.

The pool hours could have been from 9 to 9 versus 10 to 7.

The tent itself was fantastic. Clean, spacious and the site was easy to find. The fan was nice and the bed was very comfortable The bathroom facilities were brand new and clean. The music at the pavilion on Saturday evening was a nice touch.

What I paid did not equate to the experience I should have received. I was charged nearly $1200 for a three night stay in July. The receipt I got from the camp site was around $800. The $300 to $400 markup from Booking is laughable. I will never make that mistake again. Booking also said their was no return policy but Hudson Pines said I could cancel with 48 hours I believe. I understand there are things Hudson Pines cannot control and I know I would not have found the campground if not for Booking. Now on to expectations vs price paid. The sites are new and clean but VERY close to each other. I was given L11. There are 4 luxury canvas tent sites and three of them are all crammed next to each other. This would have been great if we were a large group but we did not and were subject to hearing every word from our neighbors. I get this is camping and I don't expect acreage between sites but this was extreme. No natural barrier between sites and were were not allowed to park in a manner that would have given us more privacy. The ADA site across the street was amazing and it would have been nice to have that much room for the other sites. Other minor things, we were charged for firewood. I have stayed at similar glamping destinations and wood was provided. Additionally, there was confusion over how many cars can be onsite. Initially, it was three, then told two, then received a text we could only have one. Minor, but shows the staff is not on the same page. Overall, this is a very eclectic camp site that initially looks like a beaten down KOA but charges premium prices for a limited glamping experience within the grounds. I very much want the campsite to become successfull. I firmly believe there should be options for mid level and higer end camping experiences, I just feel like Hudson Pines has a little bit of an identity crisis.
