The house is in a gated fishing village, which is very humble, but safe. The multiple private rooms had verandas overlooking the ocean. It was really beautiful to relax watching the sunset. The room has a simple set up but offers everything for a short stay. It was a perfect location to visit the Sítio Burle Marx as there are not many options in the area. The staff was super helpful and accommodating, especially by setting up the breakfast earlier than usual so we could be at Sítio Burle Marx on time.
The location is very difficult to reach and not suitable to the elderly, children or those with mobility issues. The house is accessible only with steps that descend from street level into the living quarters down below (the house was built on rocks on the ocean. Once you arrive there, it's difficult to go to restaurants, etc as it is a 2km walk from there nearest town center. For us this was a bit of a challenge as we did not have a car.
