Les chambres sont spacieuses, le patio est très sympa. On est à 2 pas des pyramides dont on voit même la pointe depuis la piscine ! Le top du séjour c’est Youssef qui est toujours sur place, prêt à rendre service avec le sourire 👌🏼

We absolutely loved staying at Sphinx House. It was a calm, quiet and beautiful sanctuary to retreat to at the end of an exciting day exploring Cairo. Ali, the owner, was very caring and wonderful at creating day trips for us to see things we wanted to see like the Saqqara pyramids, Coptic Cairo and Old Cairo. The guides for daytrips that he organised for us were all excellent. We felt we could really relax and feel at home at Sphinx House. We enjoyed the food, the pool, the ambience and the amazing view of pyramids over the wall. Sphinx House is an exceptional place to stay in Cairo.

Large air conditioning room. Could see a pyramid. The management and a couple of staff were very helpful indeed, but this was spoilt by the attitude of other staff, see later.

The staff became grumpy and refused to serve my wife and our friend with drinks because they wanted tips paid in an ongoing manner rather than at the end of the stay. The dirty smelly dusty plastic littered and horse manure strewn streets with roaming stray dogs but I guess that’s what expects in Giza. It would have been the same for any hotel in that area.
