Blueberry Villa - Historic Center Lago Maggiore

Online and electronic checkin was EASY and convenient. Rooms were large and we had an amazingly easy experience entering with my brother-in-law who is confined to a wheelchair. It is often very difficult to find places that accommodate wheelchairs (even had a portable ramp inside), shower was also ready for disabled. Location was 1 min from the waterfront, and in the cool part of the old town. Loved it all. Will return. Grazie Mille

Apartment can easily accomodate 4 people. 2 well equipped bathrooms, Good kitchen area, 2 terraces, wash machine, dishwasher, modern television in lounge (how is your Italian? no foreign channels unless you have a Netflix account). Luino has lots of nice restaurants. Parking no problem. Apartment nicely decorated and in good condition.

No fault of the apartment owners, but ..... evenings the person in upstairs apartment is rather noisy. Whilst the restaurant in the same building has good food and very friendly staff, their customers tend to be rather noisy when leaving the building. Are we in Italy ?! If you want to swim in the lake then beach shoes are advisable (unless you have leather feet for on the stones). Water is very clean and not toooo cold.

Tolle Ferienwohnung, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit Nachmittagssonne (siehe 2.Foto), somit auch dann viel Tageslicht, 2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder, Parkmöglichkeit im Hinterhof, Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit (sogar Video mit Anfahrtsbeschreibung geschickt, bei den teilweise recht engen Gassen, war das hilfreich, siehe 1.Foto) und zuvorkommend (konnten schon eher rein, er hat die fest programmierten „Öffnungszeiten“ des Schlüsseltresor manuell „überschrieben“), ruhige Lage, obwohl mitten in der Stadt Tipp: Die Eisdiele Gelatiamo (Viale Dante Alighieri) ist nicht weit, da waren wir quasi Stammgäste (lecker und preiswert :-)

Kann die Unterkunft nichts dafür, aber die Notwendigkeit viele persönliche Daten in guest.vikey.it einzugeben, hat uns anfangs ziemlich irritiert. Scheint aber wohl gesetzlich vorgeschrieben zu sein in Italien.
